Lovely river view

Quite and peaceful for those who want to get away from the race of city life.

Such a beautiful location. We felt so welcomed on our arrival. Wishing we could have stayed more than the one night, so we will definitely be staying again in the future. Fantastic place to recharge the batteries. So quiet considering it is just off a busy street.

We arrived late at night but still greeted with a warm welcome the apartment was absolutely beautiful and so well appointed !! It was only when we woke up the next morning to find it was set in the most beautiful river side setting with beautiful gardens and a little over water private boat ramp!! Next time we will book for 4 nights and bring our fishing rods

Gorgeous location right next to the river

Very nice being on the river. But almost nothing open in town for dinner on 28th dec

Our stay was enjoyable. We stayed in the Derwent cottage and were not excited on arriving at the property. The surrounding from the front did not look inviting, however, we were pleasantly surprised on entering the cottage. The hosts were thoughtful and considerate especially with stocking of the kitchen. The inside was clean and modern, my only issue was with some cobwebs around some lights-spiders freak me out! Also, the TV could only offer the local channels. My husband surprised us with a visit on our last night but they didn’t make me pay anything extra. Overall, a very pleasant trip.

A beautiful spot on the Derwent River. Well presented and very comfortable. To sit and look at the view of the river while enjoying a drink was very restful. A variety of cereals and toast & jam were provided which was a surprise and very welcomed. Would highly recommend this stay

This accomadation has to be seen to believe. Situated on the Derwent River, amidst a lovely garden setting our studio apartment the willows can sleep 3, own kitchen with breakfast to make yourself. Cereal, Eggs, bread, butter and milk all supplied. Will be returning simply stunning

This is a lovely property set by the river. There is an area by the river with chairs and a table that you can sit at and have an afternoon drink if you wish.The accommodation is comfortable and breakfast ingredients are provided such as cereal, bread, milk, etc to enable you to prepare a continental breakfast in your room

We spent a ninght in this self contained cottage. It was clean, comfortable and we had everything needed- kitchen fully equiped, also nice big bathroom. Quiet place near the river.

Spacious well equipped with kitchen appliances and wash machine ideal for longer stay. Nice location along river.

Great crew! We came in their winter so cold and tough to get warm enough in all rooms. A think the place in the summer is perfect!

We loved our unit, it was 30 metres from the banks of the Derwent River. We appreciated the view and tranquillity, and our hosts’ hospitality. The kitchen facilities, and breakfast supplies were a wonderful surprise.

The Shingles had everything we needed for a comfortable week’s stay away from home. Electric blankets kept us warm, DVDs kept us entertained nightly while the washing machine came in handy towards the end of our stay. Allup, couldn’t have asked for more.

This was a great find for our stay in New Norfolk. Very homely, relaxed and private. Well equipped with complimentary breakfast supplies, and the grounds were lovely for a stroll in the sun. The view across the river from the grounds is stunning! Our host made us feel very welcome.

A beautiful spot for a quiet stay with your loved one/ones. It’s within easy driving distance of Mt Field National Park or Hobart,without the hustle & bustle of city accommodation (which is what we were after)
