Beautiful. Full of antiques. Proprietor was sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable about the mansions history and unique house details.

Our host was so accommodating with every detail of our stay. Such a relaxing location with beautiful period furniture and decor! The breakfasts prepared by Burnett were absolutely delicious!

I want to start off by saying this is kid friendly. I had three of my grandkids with me and my daughter. Such a kind sincere down to earth. She took care of us like we were royalty. She is definitely kid friendly and a great cook. Most accommodating I would recommend this place highly I give it five stars and I will definitely be back.

It was a wonderful place to stay. Burnett our host was amazing. The accommodations were not only beautiful but comfortable and to top it off the I haven’t had a breakfasts that good in a long long time. As you might have guessed I would highly recommend staying there.

This was my first time staying in a bed and breakfast. The owner/host was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We were given choices on breakfast menu which was homemade and delicious. Customer service was excellent. Will plan a future stay again.

It had always been a dream to stay in such a place. It is beautiful, quiet and the owner is wonderful, very friendly. She is quite tge cook and her vegan breakfast was excellent.

Brunette keeps her home immaculately clean and she is a fabulous hostess. Great conversation and privacy. No noise in our room from downstairs kitchen. Very nice stay

I had an absolutelyAmazing stay at Shadow Lawn Bed and Breakfast. The hostess Burnett was very sweet and professional . She provided both a history lesson on the beautiful property as well as an amazing breakfast featuring the quiche of our choice. We will definitely stay there again.

Me and my daughter left the gulf coast to go and visit some friends in the Columbus area when looking for a place to stay Shadowlawn came up, I love history and thought this was the perfect place to share that love with my daughter, de where greeted and treated with a warm welcome the home was beautiful our rooms wonderful bed was so comfortable and breakfast the next morning was great. I will look forward to our next visit.

A great experience for any adult. Not suitable for young children. Most bedrooms upstairs so if stairs are not for you call and get the one bedroom on the main floor. The other four are upstairs. We definitely will stay here again!

Shadowlawn is an exceptional Southern residence and truly takes you back in time to a relaxing way of life. Breakfast was deliciously prepared and served in a beautiful setting. Our hostess was knowledgeable about the area very welcoming into her home. Highly recommend a stay at Shadowlawn

This Bed and Breakfast is an antebellum home (circa 1848) in beautiful condition. The owner was most gracious and attentive. In the evenings we would sit in her parlor and converse about diverse topics. We enjoyed our experience completely.

We had a delightful stay at Shadowlawn. The owner was very personable and engaging and gave us great thumbnail sketches of the history of her house and Columbus in general. She did everything possible to make sure our stay was a pleasant retreat from the outside world.

We attended a graduation at Mississippi University for Women and wanted a hotel near the University. Shadowlawn is next door to the University so we were able to leave our car parked at Shadowlawn and walk next door for the ceremony. Shadowlawn is beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed looking at all of the antiques aand appreciated the hospitality of the staff.
