This motel has been around a very long time. They've done a great job of upgrading it and yet keeping it super cute and Charming. It is very easy to get to. It is just right off the 101 if you are coming from the south. If you are coming from the north you kind of have to pass it, take the next exit loop around and get back on the southbound freeway to get off to get to this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is close to the freeway, but I had no trouble sleeping at all. When I am in the area, I will always stay here.

The bed was very comfortable and helped me to get a good nights sleep. I love the coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. The owner was very helpful and personable.

This a convenient and comfortable hotel that we enjoy staying at when we visit family in Marin. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The rooms have all the basic amenities and are clean. Overall, a great value given their room rates.

This place was very nice. It is in a much quieter area than options closer or in San Francisco. Very nice staff. We liked it so much we stayed there again later on the same trip.

This is a lovely little motel. The trees they’ve planted by the rooms make it feel scenic and the trees between the road and motel make it quiet. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The nights were quiet - I could hear peepers! The staff was very friendly. Just a great experience. Highly recommend.

We had Room 102, in the corner of the compound. So nice, airy and quiet. The set up of the compound was very relaxing and attractive, even with a major road running right outside.

I love Marin lodge! Norma and her family and staff make this quite a special place. It's clean and quiet and you can't hear your neighbors. It's quite homey, and they have nice trees in front of the windows to provide privacy. A great value here in Marin!

This place is a hidden gem. The family that runs are very nice people. It is a real bargain. It is on a busy street and close to the freeway, but not noisy at all.

Although the room decor could use an update, it was equipped with a small mini fridge and microwave which was a plus.

It was wonderful to stay at such a welcoming place. I was traveling with my elderly father who can be quite grumpy and demanding but the staff was consistently patient and helpful. I also appreciated all the little extras like free water and other goodies in the office. Next time I need a hotel in Marin, I will be staying here!

Property was easy to find, parking was awesome close to our room. Beds and pillows were the best. And the complimentary drinks, fruit and pastries were a definite bonus. We loved our short stay😃❤️

The resident owners were extremely helpful and pleasant to us. The property, while very old, was clean, with updated interiors. We would definitely recommend the Marin Lodge to others as an alternative to large corporate hotel motel/hotel chains. Our stay was surprisingly good in every way.
