Good people, good service. But the room needs to be improved, especially bathroom.

Riad Meski was very friendly and helpful. We arrived into the Fes airport around midnight and the riad arranged a driver to pick us up and walk to the hotel through the medina, which could be quite intimidating on a 1st night arriving to Morocco. Ahmed and his family ran the riad and were friendly and attentive and provided us with loads of information for Fes. Homemade breakfast from the owners mom and fresh squeezed orange juice every morning. I couldnt believe how nice everything was for the price. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Good location and friendly staff. We asked for ordering taxi to pick us up from the airport. Although the flight was delayed the driver was waiting for us and we got safely to the guesthuse.

Small room with so little light that its impossible to even read. Staff much more helpful for a group than a solo traveller. Food good but expensive.

ideal place for people who want to experience traditional culture in a beautiful traditional setting. Ahmed, the owner, speaks excellent English and is always available to arrange transport/outings and is happy to offer advice/ guidance. As the Meski is located in the old city with its narrow streets, there is no vehicle access or sound of traffic which with the very comfortable beds ensured we had the best nights sleep from any hotel we have stayed in. A different breakfast was served every day and was pleasant without being exceptional. Some facilitates like kettle and iron in the room are lacking but it is a small price to pay for staying in an old traditional building which radiates calmness and charm.

To get to the hotel we walked the disgusting alleys of the old Madina Over lamb and donkey piles of sh... by the time we got to a hole in the wall hotel we were already grossed out and anxious to leave. We left before we saw our room. The area was like a maze the guy from the hotel had to direct us in an out. Bad experience

This charming Riad was one of the best places I ever stayed at, the wonderful family that run it, Are willing to go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. In the heart of the old medina where the shops and cheap eateries are. Also great breakfast included.the deal you get for this spacious room is a still, I seriously recommend it.

My first room was a bit small for my needs. Ahmed Meski quickly made arrangements for a room more fitting. Ahmed was super helpful. The riad has a large courtyard room. A great place to gather with other travelers. Staff is helpful in showing the ways through the streets (alleys). Brakfast is on the roof terrace. Food is good.

First of all this place is hard to find even with Google Maps GPS. Theres no signs anywhere instructing you to the Riad and nothing on the door. When we entered the hotel I was hit by a incredibly strong smell of diapers. As for the hotel itself: the furniture and rooms need to be updated. Everything is old making it feel unclean, the bathroom drain wasnt properly working causing a flood, and electrical wiring seems to have been put together haphazardly. Breakfast was relatively good, and the roof was nice. The thing that was really off about this place was the owners reaction to our questions about the hot water. We ended up running out of hot water at night after one of us showered and approached him about it the next morning. We wanted to know if there were some sort of limitations on the water but he refused to believe us citing, I always have hot water here. We decided to do a test and ran out of hot water after 8 minutes. After checking himself, he went into this confusing back and forth argument where he said, Well yes, of course theres a limit because of the heater and then back to, But there is always hot water here, I know what I am talking about. We told him it might be a good idea to tell people about this limitation but he just walked away saying, I am not going to discuss an issue that I know I am right about. Overall, theres a lot of better options in Fez.

We had a great stay at Riad meski, Ahmed was fantastic! And even got us bus tickets. Our room was great although very small and the bathroom was tiny, but we managed. The breaky was delicious and great views from the rooftop terrace. It is super hard to navigate the streets of Fes, so I recommend organising a taxi our guide through the Riad to find the place! As u will defiantly get lost and there are so many people scamming u and will pretend they are from the Riad.
