What a lovely hotel and one of the few with a nice private beach. The room and grounds were spotless. Staff was very nice and helpful. Beautiful large walk-in shower and big fireplace. We had our own porch. Perfect get away!

June 2024 Wonderful hotel. The grounds are so well tended and the flowers were in bloom. We didn't get to use the pool, but it looked very clean. Across the street is a set up of lounge chairs right on the lake. Great place to end your evening.

My husband and I accidentally put the wrong date in when making our reservations, but the lady at the front desk was so accommodating since they had room and got us in. We were so thankful because it was our error, not theirs. Then we were so pleased with the room. It was clean and comfortable and so cute as well. We did not use the pool, but saw others in there and it did look clean. What a great spot with their own (small) beach across the street where we sat in the chairs they had there and listened to the waves and watched the stars at night. We definitely will stay there again.

My son and I came to Door County for a long weekend to hike, bike, and enjoy the fall colors. It was a great time and our room was much nicer than we expected.

Only criticism is that the chairs in the room were uncomfortable. The wood chairs were not something you want to sit on very long. The whirlpool tubs are difficult to climb over if you want to only shower.

Bay Breeze Resort is located directly across the road from Lake Michigan. The view is breathtaking, room was very clean, details in the landscaping was gorgeous, friendly staff, easy parking, price reasonably, and would highly recommend this place.

Bay Breeze is located in a very convenient area of Door Coumty. The property has it's own private beach where I was able to launch my paddleboard into the bay. There is a small confectionary and a breakfast burrito place next door. It is within a mile from Ephraim's downtown and harbor shops and restaurants. The hotel has plenty of free parking. The rooms are fairly luxurious, spacious, quiet, and very well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are areas to lounge outdoors to look out at the bay. There is a medium size outdoor pool. The back parking has a couple of EV chargers. They offer storage during your stay for any kayaks or bikes. This definitely is a top choice when staying in Door County.

Our room didn’t have a bay view, but were advised at booking. But it was Very Clean, comfortable and staff was wonderful!
Easy access parking. And, did have access to chairs bayside to relax. Very easy check In process. Overall, great experience. Only had one room available and we’re happy we got it!

Very cute property. Had flowers and pumpkins out for fall. The pool and hot tub had been drained for the year, but the grounds were pretty and had a good view of the lake from the balcony. Our room was small and basic, but clean and had everything we needed. The wet bar and updated bathroom was a bonus. We used the whirlpool tub and enjoyed the comfortable bed. AC wasn’t great, but it wasn’t super warm out so it didn’t bother us too much. Only complaint was that they had some out of date business cards that we tried to use for a ride back from Sister Bay, and ended up having to walk all the way back. Better to remove them than to have guests rely on a service that isn’t available. Other than that, no complains and we look forward to coming back.

Location is excellent. Rooms are very clean and nice. Beautiful grounds. We had a very nice fireplace room.
The type of room we chose has jetted tubs and it is very hard to get in and out of. I have short legs and I thought I needed a step stool to get in the tub.
Rooms don’t have any couches or comfortable chairs to sit in. You have to sit at a hard wood table and chairs or sit on the bed.
Husband is a smoker and had to walk a distance to get to the “smoking area”.

The hot tub and pool being open and extra week was excellent. The are felt private and safe. The rain shower was a fantastic addition and the bathroom was very nice. I felt like the queen king room had plenty of space. The staff was very friendly. It is right next door to Good Eggs which was a fantastic breakfast place. Very close to Peninsula State Park, dining, walking and of course, the water
The people above and next to us were a bit loud. I felt that the air conditioner didn't make it cool enough in the back bedroom. Also, nit picky thing, but the toilet did not flush with power and caused some issues.
