Very quiet and absolutely fantastic rooms

We stayed here for 1 night after visiting the beatiful town of Lunenburg. Check in was so easy, a text message with our roo.# and door code made it easy to check in at.our convenience. Rooms are very clean and up to date.

What a find!! New, clean and a great little kitchenette. Definitely will stay there again.

My stay at the Homeport Motel was very good. The room was good and the bathroom was very modern. Every day the maids came to the room every day with a very friendly demeanour. I enjoyed my stay.

Close proximity to historic Lunenburg

Very nice motel. Clean and had everything we needed. The only request is you need taller toilets. I'm only 5'2 and they were too short for me. I felt like I was sitting on the floor and really hard to get up from. Our friends were in a different room and said the same thing.

The air conditioning is very noisy

They make smokers feel unwelcome. There is a designated smoking area which I totalling get and I understand but it was a spot on the owners lawn.no receptacle for cigarette butts which I had to butt and then put in a can until I could throw them out the next day elsewhere so I didn’t get in trouble for stinking up the place and I didn’t want to litter on the lawn. Second, they provided three plastic lawn chairs in that area which were all broken and were a safety hazard to sit on not o mention the bird poop and dirt covering them. But the ultimate straw was the sleeping situation. That advertised a separate bedroom with two queen beds and a sofa bed in the living room which fit perfectly for our family. The ‘sofa bed’ was nothing more than a futon. It was a cheap ‘ couch’ that had a pull out part underneath for stretching your feet out when you watched TV. I would bet stay there again. And would not recommend for a family.

Great place and good value

Great interior space. Easy to make your own coffee. Didn’t that once you put in your door code that the credit card would be charged. Wanted to change the payment credit card to a different traveling companion.

Enjoyed my visit to Lunenburg but found this motel a little bit far to walk into town and back in the evening. Normally I could walk but walking along the highway would not be pleasant. The no contact service reminded me of 2 years ago but was otherwise very convenient. I would stay here again for a quick trip.

Liked the area as it was close to the town but the units were on lovely quiet grounds. Both my granddaughter and I rated this place as #1 of our holiday rentals! Lois & Jordana

Excellent service at your restaurant.

Nothing much to get excited about

This is a motel a little off the beaten path in Lunenburg. The rooms were clearly remodeled quite recently, very clean, with keypad entry which was very convenient. Beds were very comfortable, more so than the beds in the big hotel we stayed at in Haifax. Cleaning staff was available each morning. Check in done online, with an easy checkout. Will definitely stay there again.

Very spacious, super friendly staff, loads of options to watch on the tv... only one complaint and it's not a big deal.. the a/c was very loud and could not hear tv over it unless it was super loud

Cute premises in quiet corner of town. Some interior lights didn’t work.

I liked this place, the beds were really comfy. Also it only takes 15 minutes to walk to the town along the waterfront path so its pretty convenient.

It was an amazing stay .

Cute Motel with laundry facilities which was great since we had been on the road for almost two weeks. They were trying to get some landscaping done but the rain played havoc on that. It was a little muddy but it washed off!!!

Beautiful motel , very clean and modern.

The room was super clean, beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels soft. Had everything we needed and more.

We were late arriving, but the owner was very accommodating and stayed to check us in personally so we didn’t have to use the lockbox. Location was nice and quiet and the room was clean and comfortable.

Cute and cozy stay, cant wait to come back

I liked that I could walk in on one level with no stairs. I liked the comforters on the beds. Cozy and not too heavy. Nice little housekeeping addition which I did not use but I will on future trips. My daughter lives right up the road so this is a great location and price point for me.

The room we got was a big disappointment. Felt like we were staying in the barracks. Rooms were sparse with few amenities, poor lighting and there was no one on the property when we checked in to answer questions about getting ice or replacing a lightbulb. I would not recommend when there are so many other more charming places to stay In Lunenberg and in nearby Bridgewater
