Great location within blocks of hospital.

It was terrible from the start. Someone came into our room while we were gone. When I inquired at the front desk, the manager, Krista, yelled at me and threatened to check us out of the hotel because of my inquiry. When I asked if she had a history of the key log ins, she became very defensive stating, “if you want to go that route, I will refuse service to you and check you out of my hotel!” This to me spoke volumes of guilt. Rest of the hotel was gross and run-down. Bugs in the rooms, keys didn’t work. Had to switch rooms due to “malfunctioning door keypad”. Hallways reeked of weed. Breakfast was sub-par and not replenished in a timely manner. Overall advice: Run far away from this hotel.

As soon as we walked into the room I remembered why I had said once before that I wouldn’t stay there again. The hotel is clean and modern but the room lighting is so inadequate! There is no ceiling light by the door and the only lighting is a dim wall mounted light by the bed(s) which doesn’t come close to supplying enough light to read. Or the pot light that shines straight down on the hvac system. I asked the front desk if they had a lamp and was told he would check. Never heard anything from him and no lamp arrived at our door. Most hotels have table lamps on desk and nightstand plus a ceiling light in the entryway.

Despite being here on an INSANELY busy Friday night in a school sports-heavy time of year (and also HOMECOMING wknd!!), we were impressed with how quiet it was at night. Not sure if that's the hotel construction or just the type of people staying there, but we were right at the elevator and still heard very little hallway noise.

The toilet handle was broken, the first flush the whole handle dropped off. There is no way that cleaning staff didn't know it was broken. Closed the shower curtain and a washcloth is over the rod, never removed. The cleaning staff were loud in the hall way as their kids ran up and down the hallway screaming. As i understand we all need a job, this shouldn't take place in the work place.

The carpet in the hallways and stairwells was extremely dirty and stained.
There were a couple of mold spots on the shower curtain.
There was no one at the desk when I went to checkout in person - I wanted a copy of my bill/invoice - so had to checkout via text.

Only one person ahead of us. VERY slow employee. Never greeted us when it was our turn. Just said initial and sign and gave us key cards. Said what Breakfast hours were. That's it! No directions to room. No enjoy your stay or anything. The carpet was damp near the air conditioner and many stains in the halfway and room. Website says full breakfast. That's a stretch. Not much selection, pancakes, luke warm French toast sticks, omelets & sausage links, oatmeal, cereal, small yogurts (not greek). Parking is great though.

We stay here at least once a year. It’s a great place, but the carpets have gotten gross looking. They need a good cleaning. The fan in our bathroom was full of dust/dirt & didn’t really operate that good. A cleaning of the fan would be easy. We still will stay here cuz it is a great place!! Just needs some tenet loving care.

If our room wasn't so nice and clean, I'd have given this property 1 star. Check-in staff was rude and treated me like I was nothing more than an annoyance. No coffed the entire stay (4 nights). Pool was dirty, hot tub was disgusting, slimy water. The one evening staff was rude more than once. It seems like she doesn't want to work, just wants a paycheck. Treats guests like they're just a pain. The price was outrageous for the minimal amenities. The snack selection was lousy. I'll never stay at this hotel again.

The property was clean and in a quiet area, close to dining options. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
However, the room door would not latch, unless slammed ( loudly - poor people next door) several times! The desk person I talked to promised to have it looked at; the female the next day said that " it was like that - you just have to hold the handle up when you close it", something not mentioned at check in, or I would have requested a different room!

First hotel room smelt like the inside of a hockey bag, switched to a different room right away and it smelt like smoke, third room was fine. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. You definitely pay for what you get, hotel room was ok for a one night sleep, but probably would not stay again.
