The pictures for staying here look NOTHING like it is. OLD, runned down, door frame to bathroom rotted & gross. Had to kick in door to room cause of humidity. Floors gross. They should pay us to stay. One & done never again. Only plus was convieant to boardwalk... DO NOT RECOMMEND

Prefect area

I was trapped in my room with no answering phones because of a broken deadbolt. This is some Bates Motel level horror stay experience in the "I feel like something horrible is going to happen to me" kind of way.

The manager Sanjay is incredibly nice. Unfortunately the other woman who works there is very rude. Didn’t get her name but she has a nasty attitude. Simply asked a question and she is rude for no reason. Before leaving home messaged them my ETA 8pm and they messaged back while driving that the front desk might be closed when I arrive and they have a “piggyback parking” policy. Expedia detailed none of this, says 24/7 front desk (which is one of the reasons we booked there because of our predicted arrival time) and nothing about the piggyback parking. Sanjay was actually there when I checked in so I started to feel better about things. However, that was the only time the front desk was open. I went there again the next day and it was locked. Same thing when checking out two days later. There’s a number to call posted on the door if the door is locked, but of course there was no answer when I called. The place is very old and the bathroom smells very strongly like urine. Maid service is only on request (also not detailed on Expedia), which I didn’t know until the woman rudely explained it to me. Explaining that she “works too hard” to clean rooms every day. They’ll charge $50 if you get any sand in a room that’s already a dump. Piggyback parking concerned me but was actually no big deal. Many other places in town also have piggyback parking. It’s very old, but the only advantage is it’s a good location. Two blocks from the boardwalk and beach. I will not stay here again.

Terrible motel, avoid to stay in it. Over priced.

The room was a dump, the curtain had little to no hooks to keep it up, garbage bag over the smoke detector, no outlet cover on the ac plug also outlet hanging out of the wall, lamp shades looked like they came from the garbage can, spoke with manager no success, said he would get it when we leave, no compensation was even discussed, I would not recommend this motel to my worst enemy!!!!!

We had a pleasant stay at Royal Court for 2 nights. We were in the grand apartment (room 222) and the room had new floors which were very clean. We had 3 air conditioners which all ran well and the beds were very comfortable. There are also extra pillows in the closet which was a nice added bonus. The bathroom could use some minor updating but it was still clean. We had 5 people, 2 adults and 3 kids. This motel is so close to the boardwalk and we all had a great time in the pool as well.

I’m asking for a full refund I checked into my hotel and wind out believing for a few hours came back to conflict of loud music and ignorant people next-door, screaming drugs being used management would not refund my money. I did not stay. I had to leave with Young son and wife

From the moment I entered the office at check-in……I thought I was completely grossed out. Parking was awful. Conditions were very poor. There was long black hair in every sheet, pillow case, towel and wash cloth. Walls were paper thin….and the list goes on. There was one lone bright spot….the king bed was the softest and most comfortable bed I ever slept on…..go figure.

Didn’t get the room I booked, and had to ask to change the room they put me in, it’s not a fancy place but they room was clean , AC worked and TV worked. So no complaints on my end.Staff was friendly and helpful

I was given a dirty room, u could easily tell it was not cleaned after previous guest, front desk promptly gave me another room,... so all good

Terrible chemical smell, made eyes and throats burn, difficulty breathing, room did not match pics. Concerned for our health, we had to cancel room. Charged $50 anyway, even though it was a clear health risk. Expedia wouldn't help with $50 fee. Will never use Expedia again, stay away from Royal Court! MANY nicer places within blocks that are wayyy nicer and also cheaper!!

Definitely not the best condition room. It worked for us. It was close to the beach. Check-in was east. Staff is friendly. Parking is tight but they make it work. Walking distance to rides and boardwalk. We will be staying again.

This property was deceiving. Rooms smelled like smoke and below average...

The Staff is only there between 3-7 and they ether allow radio playing and swimming all night or there is no one there to tell them to stop. The 2 pools are clean but old looking. The buildings rooms are very old and poorly maintained. The faucet handles were broken the floors are dirty, dusty and sandy! Gross to walk on in socks or barefoot. sheets were clean and bed was good. AC is a normal window unit. Very loud but worked well and it was hot out! Lots of damaged things throughout the room. Toilet wobbled, shower had hair in it and looked frightening. The large front window’s shade was falling off. The room was cheap and close to the convention center which also is close to the boardwalk and saves you parking money if you had to drive there from a further motel. The people that say there are the kinds of people that don’t notice anything is wrong with the motel.

There was a lot of mold in the shower. Open area around air conditioner and windows. door seal was non existent. Full size refrigerator made it difficult to maneuver throughout the room. Pool hours and noise hour limitations were not followed or enforced.

The room was so nasty I didn’t even stay in there. It has a bad odor, sheets were stained or dirty and bathroom specifically the shower was gross. There is also a $25 fee for sand in the room which is crazy considering the hotel is located in wildwood. You walk to you room and the smell of weed was so strong then you get to your room and it is still so strong that you yourself could get high. Not a good environment for little kids. The pool one the upper deck looked like it was in a different hotel, water was clean and looked really nice. Pool on the ground level was gross, water was cloudy and green and just looked unkept. This would be a hotel that even if it was the last room available I wouldn’t stay there, I just wouldn’t be going. Good luck to anyone who stays there.

Great location! Patrons weren't encouraged not to loudly conversate outside all night. Too many insects in room!

place was very dirty no towells were probided, mold in the bathroom, smells like smoke and mold in the room and dust all over.

The staff was great. The property was very dated and in poor shape. Woken up by young kids running around screaming at 2 am. Someone tried to open my door.

Parking was a nightmare no customer service available before checkout time mold in the shower curtains light fixtures were broken cable and tv didnt work

The room (216) was HORRIBLE! The curtains were falling off the hooks and wouldn’t close all the way so everyone could see in. I had to use a hair clip to secure it shut! The bedspread had stains on it. The lamp had a crack, none of the outlets worked. There was a surge protector on the dresser that had the fridge, the microwave, the lamp and the tv plugged into it! The shower was DISGUSTING! When I advised the front desk he said there were no other rooms and all he could do was change the sheets. No refunds either! The parking situation is horrible. You have to leave your car keys in your room so they can come in whenever and move your car. The music was loud until 2am, the smell of marijuana lingered throughout the halls. Only good thing about this place was that you can walk to the boardwalk within 2 minutes! I didn’t expect top notch but at least some cleanliness!

The only good thing I have to say about this property is the proximity to the beach and boardwalk. It's only a block away. Other than that, the room was terrible, starting with the front door that had a gap from the bottom of the door to the threshold. There was a mildew smell as soon as we entered the room. The bathroom is old and in desperate need of an upgrade. The "clear" plastic faucet knobs for the tub were filled with mold and should be replaced immediately. A small television was mounted crookedly on the wall there was only a remote for the cable box which did not control the tv. There was a huge side-by-side full size refrigerator in the room which ate up a lot of space. The pool area had potential but unfortunately something must have been wrong with the pump because the water was green. Overpriced and substandard accommodations.

So impressed with the staff and owners of the property, Extremely accommodating due to my handicap situation. Parking was fabulous. Left only 1/2 roll of TPaper for 3 women arriving. Towels were fabulous, Water was running in the shower. Smoke alarm was not working. Entire apartment needed upgrade.

Both the bathroom and bedroom doors had broken hinges, so we couldn’t close the door. Had to call security, who let strangers and other guests into our room, to break our friends out of their room. Extension cords from one outlet to keep the fridge plugged in, and no one available at main desk for any assistance.

We have booked for non-smoking room, but we got a bad smell smoking room

Owner is nice. Parking situation is not optimal, however it is free. Overall stay was good.
