This hotel had a very high rating, but Whitefish standards must be kind of low (ESPECIALLY for their room rates). Yes, its a decent hotel, but I would rate it maybe an 8.4 or 8.6. Food options are limited, rooms are nice, clean, but nothing to be thrilled with. Housekeeping forgot to clean our room. Music in the lobby was so loud at check in, it was very difficult to hear the desk clerk. Location is good.

Nice place, but overpriced for a hotel that isn’t really anything special. Hotel bar closes at 10 but the bartender disappears before 10, and on my second night on Memorial Day, the bar wasn’t even open.

If you want to be in a great location, this is a good spot. However, that said, Firebrand needs to work on customer service at check in to check out. The front desk person was so unhelpful and not very friendly; no eye contact and not the typical front desk attendant. Over the phone customer service was good but that did not transfer over to the in house front desk. The hotel room condition was fair and barely acceptable; i.e. carpet was stained and smelled so musty. Linens were not in good shape (tattered and shredded). The bed linens did not smell clean and I did find a foreign material (bed hair) on the sheets. Yuck! One of my pet peeves. We did chose this hotel for its location so that was the most positive part of the experience. Other name brand standard hotels are a bit of a drive to this little ski village, so we made the best of it but would definitely find another option next time.

My husband and I love this hotel and try and stay when the prices are reasonable. It is so convenient for walking to all the stores, restaurants and pubs. The best feature is the rooftop hot tub when it’s working. I was really looking forward to the hot tub on our recent visit but was so disappointed to find out it has been out of service for awhile. I will definitely call and ask if it’s available before booking our next trip.

The hotel’s rooftop hot tub hasn’t been working for a while, but that wasn’t made clear when I made the reservation. I would have stayed somewhere else if I’d known. Management did nothing to offer any compensation after I asked them to.

Loved this hotel. Took the train in and arrived early in the morning, called the hotel to see if we could leave our luggage while until check-in and they happily said our room was ready. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays and the room was very nice. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to Whitefish

I did not like that when I show up in my room there is bloody garbage on the counter, and there was blood in the sink. Also the other room that I had booked for other people had construction material in the room so they had to get moved.

Underwhelming, always wanted to stay here, but was a bit disappointed. Booked a “city view “ got residential street view, room was satisfactory clean. Housekeeping was knocking and talking outside room at 08:30. Location was best attribute.

Really well laid out and welcoming hotel. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and lots of amenities. Roof top and the Hottub were awesome offering some good views of whitefish.

Thoughitis very clean and pretty, . There is nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom. No chairs or benches of any kind in the rooms to put Coats or luggage on, and there is no clock in the room. The location is wonderful.

This is a great hotel in the heart of Whitefish. Convenient to shopping and all the great restaurants, very walkable. The staff was wonderful - helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious.
The only flaw - I tried on Saturday to get a spa appointment for Sunday, and tried again on Sunday, and received no response. The phone extension said to email, so I did, and received nothing.
