It was a shame that no hot water brought this review down from a 5 star.
Otherwise I was more than satisfied, but a hot shower was something I was seriously looking forward to after a week of bucket showers.

We stayed for a couple nights and everything was perfect. It’s very central, the garden is beautiful and quiet. Wifi at the bar good enough for work calls. Perfect stay!

This is a great hotel. While older, it is extremely clean and maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful (especially Merriam). I appreciated having access to the large grocery store across the street and the nearby restaurants. Highly recommend.

The hostel is centrally located with a wonderful garden, pool, and bar area (a wonderful space in the center of Livingstone, minutes from the museum). The pizzas are to die for. We are regular visitors.

Such a delightful, tranquil place with tremendous, helpful staff. Don’t let the entrance put you off because behind those doors are beautiful grounds and a wonderfully relaxed ambience. We absolutely loved it so thanks Mike and team for a great experience.

Amazing property, it is very well maintained and the staff is extremely friendly. The General Manager is open to feedback and the only that I have is that the common areas are a bit warm in the afternoon / evening and buggy. I recommended large ceiling fans for comfort as that is the only location there is WiFi. He mentioned they have ordered ceiling fans and are working on getting Starlink as soon the Internet.

This was our second time staying here and both times were great. The rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable. Great setup for the mosquito nets over the bed. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. They also have lots of little areas to sit and socialise or have some quite time. Very helpful booking des for various excursions. I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Fawlty Towers. The location provides easy access to stores and restaurants, while also giving visitors a place of calm and relaxation. The entire staff/management was extremely friendly and professional, and was always willing to offer guidance and assistance with planning visits to points of interest and attractions.

Fawlty Towers is was a little slice of paradise in the heart of Livingstone. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for great accommodations while in the Livingstone area!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have loved to stay longer. The staff are absolutely fabulous and so hospitable and helpful, with excellent tips and information - we loved the local market.
The accommodation is also blessed with excellent lounge, bar, pool and gardens.

Excellent staff (Mirriam, Matthews, Mike, Ernestine, Paulina all very friendly and helpful), good value for money for a private room, well laid out with pool, catering facilities and mix of dorms and private rooms, good location for access to everywhere. I had a wonderful stay especially as I spent more of my time inside the lodge than outdoors.
