This was once a nice hotel. I believe it is under new mgmt and it’s pretty apparent of the attention to care is lacking. Now it’s clearly very unkept. The hallway floors are pretty dirty and grimy. The carpet around the elevators is disturbing. The hotel hallways were freezing. Clearly the heat is not run during the winter. The breakfast buffet is pretty disappointing.

I had a wedding at 1:30 PM and the check in time was at 3:00 PM and them helped me to have an early check in without extra charge and I can be on time in my event thanks them.

We had stayed here once before and were excited to come back a few months later. I have to say it was a bit of a let down. It was not as clean as previous visit and I had to take a cold shower the second day because there was no hot water. Several small repairs were needed in the room. Some wallpaper was peeling in the hallway. It looked like someone had tried to break into our room at one point due to damage to door and frame. Just alot of small things that gaves us a not so good feeling. On a positive note. The bed was pretty comfortable. Breakfast options were good. There is plenty of space and it's nice having a small kitchen space. Would be especially nice for an extended stay provided they fix the hot water situation. We had no safety issues and there are doors that lock on the outside. Feel like they should probably replace any damaged doors though.

Christina at the front desk deserves a raise and recognition from the top. She greeted us with a warm smile and happiness. Her hours are not easy and in the morning she was just as warm and friendly and professional.

We had to babysit grandbaby while his mom was giving birth to his baby brother. We brought him to the hotel and took him swimming. Ordered pizza with grubhub and had a great evening. Staff was all very nice and willing to help.

I don’t usually write a bad review, but potential customers deserve to know. Main areas of this hotel are filthy and unsanitary. Two large cockroaches in the hall near the breakfast room. Rooms are OK, but the common areas are disgusting.

Not as expected and the price was too much for the property. The air on the floor was out. The pool was dirty and half of it wasn’t working. The room had a bad odor. I will never book again!

Property is a clearly listed Hilton location. You will pay that price at the counter. The benefit is you will get Hilton quality service from staff and amenities. The downside is clearly this property is not reviewed by a manager to uphold the Hilton programming of making the experience ‘different’ and luxury in comparison to competitors. Now, it’s understandable that a East Texas hotel is not that well rounded and will have lapses in quality control; this is in relation to room setups, quality of accessories, etc. Soap dispensers not filled, loose shower pieces, and AC not working in the breakfast area; these are not descriptions of a Hilton hotel, in my opinion.

The front desk guy was rude. He had this “ I don’t care attitude” but the other front desk lady was nice. She was pleasant. I was not happy that I was not notified that the pool would be out of commission the whole time I was there. It would have been nice if they notified me and told me!!

We had to keep asking for supplies... towels (only 2 bath towels in a suite that slept 4), shampoo, linens for the sofa bed. I would have thought these would have been in the room.

Location is good. Stayed 4 nights. Room was non-refundable. Bed was clean and comfortable. Window shades were broken and would not open our entire stay. Microwave not working. Floors and couch stained and dirty. Fan in bathroom did not work. Our room was not cleaned our entire stay even though we left early in the day. Got clean towels from reception, and employee was rude. Would not eat the breakfast, area was dirty, trash overflowing and oily creamer? Yuck. Hotel was probably understaffed like most these days.

This hotel needs a serious fabric and carpet deep clean. The carpet floors in the hallways and in my room were filthy and horribly stained. But bathroom looked great and clean. Hard furniture was in great condition, but the couch and chairs in the room was filthy and stained on the arms.
The fitness center had 3 treadmills - 2 were broken. The 1 peloton bike they had was wobbly and didn't have the attachments to tighten.
The room itself was fine. The continental breakfast was great - the lobby great. Just get the bissell out and clean the carpets and furniture!

Generally a very nice stay. However while taking a shower noticed that the dispensers on the wall were completely out of soap and shampoo (did have conditioner) - thus the showering was poor. The bathroom floor groat was also pretty beat up. Breakfast was good and bed was comfy.

Everything was great from check in. Room was clean and comfortable. Also, the lady working the breakfast area was very nice and she really worked to keep everything stocked and ready. We will definitely stay here when we come back next year.
