It's a hostel that can pack people into a private room.
Window was missing glass slat. Nosound insulation, so noisy until 11 PM.
AC made squeaky noise.
Plumbing was loose and you could see sunlight through the edges.
Mattresses were old, one was overly firm, one was soft.
Common areas, kitchen, and pool were nice.
Staff is really friendly and takes pride in the community environment.

Manager Leo was very helpful with guidance to this older solo traveler - had good local knowledge for economical eating options - can arrange/offer everything/anything tours, transfers, surfing, snorkeling, diving etc. - strictly quiet after 11pm - 24 Hr security - well run for a large hostel (60 guest capacity) - good english via the Mgr.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location and great workout/yoga space! My only issue was one bathroom for the entire dorm and the bathroom was right inside the room

Fun place, lots of action. Good for younger people. After hour party is awesome, ends around 11:30, my sons(19-17) loved it, fid not bother me, but if quiet is what you want, do go to tamarindo!

We had a great stay. The place has a good vibe. A short 2-3 minute walk to town. David and Fernando were both awesome and helpful. I would stay here again.

Don’t think about booking one night just to be sure you like it, with thoughts of extending your stay. It’s unlikely they’ll have availability. Jump right in if you’re looking for an affordable, friendly, no fuss stay, with parking, and everything within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again.

Everything was great and everything went smoothly. Staff was accommodating and offered dinner service.
Only con is the dustiness that's caused by it being on a main road but location is good!

Staff was great, location is close to the beach and everything else, check in was quick and easy, room was basic but we didn't need more. AC worked well. We'll definitely stay there again if we're back in Tamarindo

Very lovely host with lots of useful tips for Tamarindo. The hostel is at walkable distance from the beach and restaurants.

The front desk staff were very personable and friendly. They were very helpful answering any questions that I had. This hostel is in a great location, within easy walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The pool was very nice to cool off any time of the day into the evening. I would definitely return to this place .

Good location central to town and a great pool and common area. Helpful staff and a great price! Only issue was that our room was not soundproof at all. The hostel was not terribly noisy, all guests were respectful and the nighttime noise curfew respected, but we could hear everything going on. Would recommend if you need a cheap place with lots of amenities but maybe not great for early sleepers.

Very good experience. We had the chance to be in the newer area (2nd floor). Very secure. Nico borough. Very friendly and helpful personnel. We were a couple. We had a private room and bathroom with AC. Highly recommended.

The owners & the staff are very nice and helpful. The hotel is clean and beautiful. Not on the beach, but easy to walk and good restaurant around. I really enjoyed my time in Tamarindo

Comfy bed. Really nice pool and social area. Made lots of friends due to the laid-back but social vibe. Or, just laze in a hammock / the pool - your choice. Have stayed in many hostels around the world - this is one of my favourite.
The owners and staff could not have been more welcoming - really nice, genuine people. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here.
