The property was filthy the motel had broken windows the guy that was in charge with dirty in the lobby was sickening. And after I canceled I still had to pay a fee.

Do not stay here. Front staff was friendly and pleasant but the room was a different story. It smelled, the sheets had stains, there was insulation hanging out by the heat/air conditioner unit, the window tinting on the windows was peeling off, and the coffee and snacks provided by the staff scared me. I was hesitant to even walk in the place from the outside. I was charged $177 for a room and the same room was listed for $99 hours later (for the same night). I immediately went back to office and asked for refund, said no way I can stay here. They offered half my money back. But instead of giving me a credit they charged me again $89. I am disputing both charges with my credit card. Stay away.

Some people travel for the destination. Others for the experience, itself. I personally like people's stories. Curtis, the host , had lots of stories but he was also interested in my stories. I had a free beer at check in and he personally made me a waffle and bacon for breakfast along with fresh coffee. My room was quiet, clean and convenient for my little dog.Yes, the inn is an older place and dated but I would stay again.

The room is too dirty as well as the bed. We did not stay there and booked another hotel immediately after we check-in. The hotel condition is horrible and not feel as well.

I should have turned around and left as soon as I walked into the musty office. the room was neat and clean on the surface but the air was musty and dusty. The room was located right over the horrible office. It was the worst place of our trip. We stayed an hour before we were rested enough to drive another hour to suitable hotel to stay the night.

I usually dont write reviews. But I was shocked that this hotel is even listed on Expedia/Hotels.com. It was the worst hotel we ever stayed in 20 years. Extremely dirty, outdated, broken walls, broken faucet, rust and mold everywhere. It was scary to touch anything. It looked like the room has not beed cleaned for 30 years. We checked in late and survived the night somehow, but it was a horrible stay!!! You can easily film a horror movie there. Look at the pictures and go somewhere else. I can not belive they dare to charge almost $150 for what they "offer" including a $16 utility and sanitary surcharge. Are you kidding me??? It's ridiculous!!!

Room was deplorable! Filthy! Pulled the bedspread back and dried blood on the sheets! The room had not been cleaned in who knows when! Dirty wash clothes in the shower!

Room 208, Deplorable living conditions. Bed bugs, moldy pillows, 3 thin 1960s mattress wrapped in plastic for both beds. all furniture appeared to be recycled from the side of the highway. For outside views google this place and you will see the rest of the property. the room picture here on expedia does not represent the room I was given.

Old fashion hotel in the mountains with a wonderful view of the mountain.

This property should be closed and completely rebuilt. Owber is a nice person but is in his 80s and unable maintain the motel by himself. I wouldn't stay there again.

This was by far the worst place I have ever visited. I went into the room long enough to get online and book another location. The owner was literally in my face 3-4" telling me how his employees left open sodas & candy all over, inviting rats and other pests onto the property. He took me into the little guest kitchen which was a mess. He opened the fridge which was a bit grimy on the outside and inside it was packed with food & drink for all guests. I wouldn't have touched it with a 10' pole. I went into the room, after finally extricating myself from him long enough to book somewhere else and left. Before I left there was a DEAD ROACH on the floor and the wall was peeling in one place. I did take a photo of this but will not post them. As far as I could see, including him insisting on standing unmasked, no more than 4" from my face, there were no Covid precautions. This place really needs to be removed from your list of available properties. If I had not seen the roach, I would not have known they were there and probably brought some home along with other things I don't want to think about

It was affordable. The AC worked. A place to sleep. I kept my flip flops on. Think of it as a sturdy tent.

Nestled in a small town close to everything. Personal. Curtis the owner/operator extremely hospitable. Love this place.

You know at first I was not sure about this booking but after meeting the on site owner Kurtis, I felt comfortable as could be! Talk about hospitable. I was satisfied with my stay even though it may have been short! Thank you Kurtis for your wealth of knowledge and kindness!

This place is a blast from the past. Although I would understand why some wouldn't like it, I found the staff and overall experience to be very kind. Honesty, the people that work here are amazing, and just for that I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very old property. Room window was broken. Bathtub had calcium deposit in the water. Very dangerous plug in appliances in the room. The only thing good was it was relatively clean. Comforters on the bed very worn and bear in places. We didn’t get their until late and did not know the area or I would have canceled and stayed somewhere else. I didn’t feel safe there. For $144 I expected a lot better.
