Absolutely the best hotel in district 1!!! I’ve stayed at The Myst many times over the years and the Staff, food, and accommodations continue to be superb. Always very kind and thoughtful- they even surprised me with a beautiful birthday cake :) If you want a true luxury boutique hotel experience, you will not be disappointed with The Myst Dong Khoi!

Lovely staff and rooms. Gym equipment could do with an update. Would be nice if there were cleaning materials available to wipe down before and after use.

Really charming hotel, that felt authentically Vietnamese. The pool and sky-bar were a lovely oasis of calm whenever we wanted to escape the wonderful chaos of Ho Chi Minh.

The bed was well made but the towels were not changed properly.

Service was superb. Hotel is located perfectly. All up a very good hotel.

Great stay with good staff

A fantastic hotel. The staff were all incredibly friendly. Hotel conveniently located near the shops, restaurants and tourist locations. Would highly recommend for a stay in Ho Chi Minh.

The pictures don’t only tell the story. Beautiful hotel right in the main district of Saigon. So much around it, but the room itself was incredible. Very comfortable bed, with Jacuzzi on the balcony. Phenomenal staff and attention to detail made this one of my favorite hotel destinations.

My wife and I have had the privilege of staying at the Myst, The hotel itself is situated perfectly within District 1, easy access to the river, walking to the promenade was a breeze and little to no street beggars... Restaurants for miles and known names like McDonalds and dairy Queen along with hundreds of 7-11& Circle K's (which run south east Asia) but the hotel... The hotel is a genius mix of hospitality and comfort, the hotel is clean well managed and has a good vibe, We have traveled around this globe of ours and To date I have not been in a hotel that has THIS, and I am proud to say that the jam that this hotel has is good. Safely stuffed in District 1 this quirky hotel with rooms that match its attitude is perfect, the hotel had 14 floors, not to many rooms and rooms that have it all, FANTASTIC A/C, great water pressure and a breakfast situation that knocks it out of the park.... Afternoon TEA TIME that includes a HUGE assortment of food and snacks along with custom to order coffee, however that isn't the best part.... The staff at the hotel is second to none, the nicest crew I have EVER run across... Chinh, Dung, Ana are outstanding these re just some of the names of the staff, the hotel manager is present and available night and day, the restaurant is sensational, well stocked and clean .. There are so many facets with the Myst like a diamond I would encourage anyone visiting Saigon to consider booking the Myst.. The rooms are quiet, well stocked, the staff are

food and environment are wonderful

Booked a double room with early check in at 1pm clearly stated. Arrived at the hotel at 1:15pm but the front desk advised that the room is not ready. When asked about the early check in offer, the front desk said that it is 'subject to availability' or perhaps I didn't select the 'early check-in' option therefore they cannot offered us a room to check in. It wasn't a big deal as we live locally and could have come a bit later if the check in time was given correctly at the time of booking. However, the front desk staff made us felt very unwelcomed by asking to see the 'proof' that our booking has 'early check in' option selected. Had to show the hotels.com app to convince the staff that we were not lying. It's not only wasting time, it totally killed the mood for a relaxing staycation. Afternoon tea on the 12th floor offered live violin & guitar performance. It was a good intention but very badly executed with a couple of unprofessional musicians (chatting and checking phone on stage). The performance felt like a couple of students rehearsing. The atmosphere will be better with some background music rather than the live music.

The décor is carefully curated, reminiscent of a traditional Vietnamese home, but it also incorporates modern necessities. It's just perfect!

Excellent hotel and value.

Location is very convenient and the service is excellent. We enjoyed the roof top's bar. Breakfast is great with many food options.

Air conditioner was not controllable but staff did problem fixing immediately after call.

Very old and tired hotel. Good service but not a comfortable stay

My stay at the Myst was excellent again. I have stayed a few times previously and always enjoy the calm, elegant rooms, excellent breakfast and impeccable service. I would say that my room could have done with a bit of TLC. A few lamp bulbs didn't work and perhaps a new coat of paint, but for the age of the hotel - the place is truly A+.

Absolutely amazing stay. We stayed at three hotels while in Vietnam, and must say this was but far our favorite. The process was seamless from airport to hotel, staff was friendly, and food was delicious. Would highly recommend. Also shout out to Kim for being incredible!
