From the initial phone calls and welcome emails, through to check in and check out, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The little terrace and patio were cute spots to relax. Very convenient location too being walking distance to restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely classic Spanish style hotel but only 8 years old. The rooms are really well equipped with cooking facilities and are more apartment than simple hotel rooms. We stayed on two occasions and both our rooms had washer dryers which were very useful. Not all rooms have this facility so you would need to request this. The beds are really comfortable and the bathrooms have great showers The roof terrace is lovely with comfortable seating, chairs and tables and fruit trees. The hotel is like an oasis in the centre of Westwood, very peaceful and homely. Nearby are good restaurants and shops. The staff are all lovely and very helpful. We look forward to coming back. We think that this is the best hotel in this area.

It was not our first time at this property. We loved the space and location of the hotel but the service this trip was lacking. Housekeeping was extremely minimal- they barely touched our room. We had to ask each day for coffee and towels over a 3 day stay as they were never refilled. Glassware was never cleaned despite the room having a kitchenette. This was disappointing.
Considering the hotel offers no amenities like a pool or restaurant or bar I would expect more in this area.

This was our second stay at Plaza La Reina and I was a little let down - our room was barely cleaned. The bathmat and towels were moved and the garbage cans emptied but no coffee refilled, cups not cleared every day! I asked about it after the first day, received an apology and no change. Disappointed!!!! Just felt a little less fantastic than last time.

Love this property and the staff is great. As a frequent guest, I appreciate that they always greet me and remember me. Rooms getting dated, beat up and need updating and repairs. Terraces could use chairs. Self parking late at night in the darkened garage is terrifying- they need motion lights. Everyone from housekeeping to management are incredibly accommodating. Location is great.

Room was very large and bathroom was nice but the bed was not comfortable and the room was not clean. Location really good for Westwood and UCLA but it was expensive for the quality the room.

This place is beautiful, immediately my father, whom I travelled with, was beyond impressed. He also appreciated a fully functional kitchen, although it took him a second t figure out how to open the cabinet doors! This hotel is also quite unassuming as well, with the lobby being so cozy and quiet I felt like I walked into the wrong space. The staff is nice and attentive, keeping the space nice. The rooftop is quiet and quaint, with some fruiting trees and a small little gym area. When I say small though, I mean it, there are two machines and a stack of weights. I don't work out much, but if you need a more functional gym you may need to may want to look elsewhere. The rooms are beeeeeg and spacious, however I would really like a bathtub. I was so looking forward to a bath here and packed bombs and everything. Alas, no tub here. But a very pretty and nice spot. The neighborhood is basically a college town, can walk to various grocery stores or restaurants. Shopping isn't really that great here, but you're only a short drive from other places. The neighborhood is also very quiet at night, so enjoy that over the honking of the city.

We live in LA, but lost AC during a heatwave and needed a last minute flexible place to stay. Our room was huge, quiet, and beautiful, with two balconies (courtyard and city), and a fully appointed kitchenette and laundry. We will recommend this to family when they come to visit us. Our *only* issue was finding the actual entrance when we arrived late at night, hot, and exhausted (it’s to the right of the grand staircase shown in the photos), but that is probably on us and was super minor.

Great location and friendly helpful staff. Larger space than your usual hotel room. Nice rooftop outdoor area. Handy to have Car parking (bit expensive) and Kitchenette facilities. Our room had a washer /dryer which was great but the dryer would only run for 10mins and then stop.
One of the pillow slips and one of our towels had a hole in them and the balcony door lock was broken. Things just seemed to be a bit neglected.
Disappointed with cleanliness (long hair in the shower) and the floors could have done with a decent mopping as our feet got quite dirty walking around the room.

Spacious room free cold water available 24/7 at the reception. Friendly staff. Ambiance. Patio on 6th floor offered a nice place to sit outside and enjoy the weather and eat our dinner together as family. Business room with table chairs and couches on the 6th floor which i used to work for a few hours each morning. .

Beautiful decor in room, very clean and quiet would recommend more bath towels but we really enjoyed our stay. The parking was outstanding, safe and secure.

Excellent property nestled in the hustle bustle of LA, great walk score if you intend to visit some offices close by.
Overall would recommend it, the only caveat is they do not have their own restaurant or cafe, however plenty of options outside.

My third stay at this really lovely and charming hotel. People are incredibly kind and the rooms and property are beautiful and unique. If you are tired of corporate cookie-cutter chains, you must give Plaza la Reina a go!

The Expedia add said waived $40 parking fee for vip but at check in they charged me. And i called 3x for towels and was told at 8:40 am on a Thursday that housekeeping was not in and I would have to wait. There were 2 people working the entire hotel.
