The room was smaller than expected but totally acceptable. This was a very clean and well maintained bed and breakfast in a quiet location. The innkeepers were very helpful and pleasant to interact with.

We had the king suite room# 14. The view was great however the A/C was broken so it was hot. They sent the carpenter to fix it but needless to say he couldn't. Nice guy though.I had to open the windows and listen to loud people under the window until after midnight. There was a very bright floodlight on the adjacent building that made it like daytime all night. The pillows were 12 inches thick. I didn't sleep much at all. Very disappointing for $427.00.

Though the bathrooms were down the hall, it felt like we were back in earlier times since that’s the arrangement we would have encountered in a rooming house. There was not a single time that I needed to use the bathroom and had to wait, though the hotel was full the entire time. The ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms seemed to be perfect.

Beautiful & comfortable room with AC. Bed , bedding & linen very nice! Breakfast & homemade cookies were delicious! Shared bathroom needs toweling & soap by sink. We will definitely be back!

The area the bed and breakfast is in, is very quiet. enjoyed the wrap around porch...listening in the shade to many signs of the Island. Laugio9ng of children, clomping of the many horses with carriages, Delv. wagons and such !! The owners were very friendly and had nice visits with the other guest staying there.

The bedroom was clean but sparce. The bathroom was very small and cramped. No space at the very small sink to set toothpaste, soap, or toiletries. The claw foot tub/shower was clean, but no flat surface to set soap, shampoo, etc. No hooks or towel racks at all in the bathroom. Very inconvenient.

Staying overnight in Mackinac Island is a luxury for us. Pine Cottage B&B offers a quiet space “above” the fray of Main St and just beyond the Mackinac State Harbor. And there’s a dog to scritch and a 7-year-old to converse with over breakfast. So friendly and perfect for our needs.

Coffee at 6:45, breakfast at 8. Just far enough from center of town to feel removed but only a 4 minute walk when your ready to partake in any of the downtown or park events.

A delightful bed and a fabulous breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable. Everything was scrupulously clean. Our hosts were extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was an absolute treat. And there was tea and cookies at tea time in the afternoon. We enjoyed our stay here tremendously.

Pine cottage is centrally located, yet tucked away in a quiet street on Mackinac Island. The service was excellent, and the property is beautifully restored and maintained. Breakfast options were limited, but delicious and the cookies during tea time were soo good. The view from our room over the harbor and lake was amazing and we highly recommend this B&B.

This is a wonderful old home refurbished as a B & B. As a result, there is limited space in the bathrooms. However, it would have been nice to at least have a towel bar and a little shelf in the bathroom (#15)

Great experience if you don’t mind sharing a bathroom with others. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Caretaker was friendly. Porters brought our bags from ferry and deposited in our room. Room was a bit noisy when other restrooms were being used. Each room had its own mini-split HVAC so room stayed very nice and cold during a few hot summer days, bathroom and halls were warm as they were not in AC

Pine Cottage was wonderful. Super close to all the main st shops but just far enough to be away from the crowds. We stayed in a room that didnt have its own bathroom but there was always a shared bathroom available. Breakfast was delicious each morning. Their porter service (shared with another hotel) got our luggage to amd from the ferry for us. Price was very reasonable compared to other local options. We would definitely stay again!

Great location near the main strip. We stayed in a room with a private bath. Would have it no other way. Nice porch, friendly staff. Great little get away. Regarding Mackinac, great airport to fly into, horse taxi service was great. We rented a tandem bike, if you’re physically able would def encourage as there is much to see around the island.

Welcome cookies were yummy. Bed was comfy. I think some kind of handrail would be helpful stepping in and out of tub- high step and nowhere to grab. Very homey and welcoming.

Very quiet. My eating has to do with the room size which was barely able to fit a queen sized bed and a shared bathroom down the hall.
