A fabulous hotel. Very friendly staff. Amenities were great. Would definitely stay there again.

Spent a couple nights in Turret room, just as pictured! Outside our door was a living room 2nd floor, which no one but us used! Great staff very pretty bldg and a short walk into town. Bike rental across the street.

The hotel room was very small and bathroom was tiny and barely had enough space to back into but not turn around. The sink was outside the bathroon which made getting ready a chore. There was NO phone in the room even for emergencies. Heat and air conditioning were impossible to regulate. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Very old cramped room. Sitting on the John your knees hit the shower curtain and I’m only 5’4”. No hair dryer, no iron. Sink next to my head by the bed… not in a bathroom. Toilet and tiny shower in a water closet.

Wonderful

Inn on Mackinac is a wonderful Victorian Inn with the charm and character you would expect. It is a great location, a little quieter but still close to all the activities on Mainstreet. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and good continental breakfast. Baked goods are yummy. Donuts and cider offered in the afternoon and cookies in the evening.

Beautiful historic Victorian hotel. Clean, comfortable and quaint room tastefully decorated in Victorian style. Nice continental breakfast with GF options (thank you). Very nice surprise with outdoor spa/whirlpool. Very attentive and helpful staff.

The Inn is nice and our room was super comfy! Our air conditioner was not working great so the room was very stuffy but by 9 pm with the window open it had cooled down and to sleep was great. Beds are super comfy. The few people that worked at the Inn we encountered were not the friendliest but we still enjoyed our room and stayed greatly!

A quaint hotel close to Main Street and the State Park. A great continental breakfast.

Inn charged me for two nites when I stayed only for one. Booked online with Hotels.com so I knew about cancel policy but booked the wrong nite (Friday) not Saturday so rebooked in less than 5 minutes online for correct nite for more than the other nite. Requested a refund due to clerical error in my part and they refused. Bad policy in my opinion. On top of that, they way overrated the “tower room with lake views “ they failed to mention it is only accessed thru the children’s game room!! Had to reprimand children well after the 9:00pm quiet because parents were off having fun leaving kids unattended. Other window was right next to front porch area which had others out there late night partying. Tiny room with tiny bathroom for a ridiculous price. Have stayed on the Island many times and this place is the worst for comfort and honestly. Save your money and stay next door at the Island Housr. Wish they would have had an opening when we stayed.

I stayed at Inn on Mackinac with friends for five wonderful days. The hotel is clean, comfortable, has an elevator and a nice waterfall spa tub outside. Breakfast is continental. One drawback is no refrigerator in the room. Other than that, it is a great location-close to main shopping and the Misson District. Would stay there again.

It was our 39th anniversary! So I splurged on a bed and breakfast on the island! The room was a huge disappointment, bathroom was very small, no iron or ironing board. The pillows were very generic! Stayed at a cheap Best Western on the way up, and they had twice the breakfast you served! The staff was great but the accommodations were very subpar!

The staff was so nice and helpful. Our room was very clean, breakfast delicious! We would definitely like to stay there again!

Property was clean, quiet, and convenient to everything needed on the island.

There is much to like about this B&B. For starters, the excellent location, within walking distance from the ferry dock. Beautiful views of the water from our room, the turret room, which was adorable. I especially liked the sitting area located within the turret. There are many nice places to lounge around outside the room, including a larrge, really pretty wrap-around balcony with many chairs looking out on the water. The property itself is also very pretty, full of beautiful, colorful flowers. On the less positive side: The room itself felt a bit run-down. There was a loveseat in the turret room that could not have been more uncomfortable, with springs poking into your behind. Just awful. I also found several of the people who worked at the reception to be courteous but unfriendly, including the young woman who checked us in, and the (loud) woman who worked at reception the morning we left. The breakfast area was kind of depressing, and the choice of food was uninspired, but there were really nice places to eat outside that area. I think I'd return, but mainly because Macinac Island is such a wonderful place. Highly recommend the bike rental right across the street.

We asked for a room that sleeps 5 - 2 adults, and 3 kids ages 13, 14 and 15. We were given a room that stated it sleeps five only to have 2 beds. The staff had to look to see if they could find a folding cot for us. The room was small, and didn’t accommodate a cot! The bathroom was tiny and didn’t feel clean. We were on the left side of the building next to seasonal staff housing for the island so we experienced partying until late hours of the morning and 2 nights someone vomited outside the window. The spa pool is not a pool at all, but a hot tub. Sadly the manager never reached out to us when requested and the staff on site were not helpful and two of them were downright rude. We’ve stayed on Mackinac 5 times in the last 10 years and have always had an amazing experience. We will not stay at the Inn on Mackinac again.
