The staff was welcoming and very helpful and they all made efforts to speak English. It was my birthday while I was staying there and the General Manager, Mr Muramatsu, sent treats and a card to our room and the restaurant staff presented me with a special dessert! Special thanks to Mr Kuramoto, front desk!

The pool has a good temperature, but sun-beds could be better.
Onsen was also ok. Some people had tattoos, ❤️ but I don't think it was allowed.
It's a bar with a view on good days. Drinks a little more pricey than other places.
If u choose no room cleaning you got a coupon for the cafe or shop.
When we complained about the massage and dryer they only said sorry which was a little weird, but ok..

Wonderful time at The Art. Buffets were reasonably priced with good variety. They had an all you can drink alcohol for 1,500yen or under $10 for 60 minutes. Pool was nice and the tour desk booked a great tour of Iriomote for us.

It was good stay overall, only thing is that they give 1000yen Gift ticket per for not using House clean service. But they only give only one day ticket at a time, so we stayed 10 nights and everyday we had to go to the front for
the 1000 gift ticket which is not convenient NOR good service. They should give all 9 tickets at time of check in. That was the service I received at other hotel nearby.

It’s a decent place to stay for a couple of nights. They try really hard to make it nice but it is an older property in need of renovation. Breakfast was good especially if you like Japanese cuisine. If you are planning to be out all day and need a place to stay on a budget, this place is perfect.

Very reasonable price, large clean rooms, staff was extremely friendly, easily accessible from the airport and delicious restaurants. Stayed here for 6 nights and I highly recommend you consider this hotel. There is also a nice pool with slide and a shuttle bus that runs to Fusaki beach resort.

The air conditioning simply did not work. I had hotel service come to the room, see the therostate was preset at 18C but there was no air flowing and it was HOT. He said "we checked and nothing is wrong with it, here is a fan". It was not an acceptable solution for what we were paying for this okay room in the middle of the summer. So disappointed.

Larger than we were expecting, the hotel has several cafes and restaurants of its own. We had the buffet dinner one night when in a rush for our plane, and while hardly gourmet it was actually pretty decent. Rooms quite large, the public bus from the airport runs literally to the door every 30 mins. And when we left a night early to escape an approaching typhoon they even refunded us for it which they didnt have to do which was mich appreciated. Nice swimming pool. A little far from the town centre and down dark lanes so a little difficult to go out in the evening except by taxi.

The check in process was slow. We travelled with multiple families, each having our own separate reservations but they treated us like a group tour so it took longer.

Everything was nice except for the check in. We came all together on a large bus and when I got to the counter they said we had to step off tonthe side because we were considered as a group because we came off the same bus. I booked my room separately but they told me I had to wait. After a long trip no one likes to wait for their room. Most would like to just get to their room and relax.

The staff are helpful and friendly. There is a spring for bathing which is convenience for a group of people to shower! There are restaurants and supermarket nearby and bus to airport, absolutely great location. In addition, they provide free parking which definitely an advantage!

The hotel is really clean and cozy and the room was very spacious. I had a 3 months old baby travelling with me and the hotel was able to arrange a baby crib with pillow and blanket for me. It is definitely a children friendly hotel. We enjoyed the public bath and the breakfast buffet. Overall our family had a wonderful stay.

The staff at Art Hotel was super helpful. Hotel was very clean. I really like the way they are promoting eco friendly by not having your bedsheets change, you get 500 yen coupon to shop at hotel. I really like their location which takes only 10-15mins away from lots of major shops. It’s almost hard to find a single thing to complain. Good job!! Art Hotel. I definitely would be back
