Short walk from the ferry/bus. Central to everything. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with plenty of options. Rooftop terrace was beautiful in the mornings. Thank you so much!

The location was PERFECT, the staff was very heplful and friendly, the rooms were very good, the breakfast was what i was expecting from an italian B&B and it was very fresh and enjoyable, and the rooftop terrace with the wide ocean view is amazing. I understand every traveler has different needs and expectations of their accommodations. For me this place met and exceeded all of my expectations. Very happy guest ;)

Hotel was well located in Amalfi which was within walking distance of everything. We didn’t really see much of the staff other than when we checked in, so can’t really comment on that but the hotel was good for what we needed. Room was a little dark and this hotel doesn’t have great views other than when you go up to the roof terrace but for what we paid, we can’t really complain. We found Amalfi to be the best base for exploring the Amalfi coast.

Our experience was great. We arrived just after a storm and the internet was not working great in our original room so the hotel upgraded us on our arrival to a room which had a view of the ocean and was in a location where the internet was working.
Great customer service and a really good breakfast. We really enjoyed the rooftop where we were able to take in the views.

Had a great experience at this B&B. I experienced delays with my flight and Rosa messaged me the whole day just to make sure I was safe since I’m travelling alone. Really amazing staff!

Really cute—there was lots of character in the building and room. Staff were kind and welcoming and the room was clean. We paid extra for the breakfast—lots of fresh options and the view from the roof was a really nice way to start our day.

Everything about our experience was top notch. We took the ferry from Salerno and it was only a five minute walk to the property. Use the main street to get to the property. Much easier than what google maps told us to do. Once you get to main drag no steps to get to the property. The room was very "Amalfi". Tile and rotunda ceiling and the bed was very comfortable. If we are fortunate to travel to Amalfi again we will stay there without reaervation.

It was a little hard to find since it was down a narrow street, but the room was nice and the staff was fabulous! Very accommodating and friendly

Our stay was wonderful! Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean, hotel was in the perfect location too! We came via ferry and it was about a 5 minute walk (would be the same if you came by bus). We spent all evening on the terrace. Breakfast was very good and fresh. We would definitely stay again!

Clean and nice place to stay in Amalfi. Close to everything including the Duomo. Quiet place and great view! Only issue we had was that air conditioner was not working well, it worked for a couple of hours then stopped. It was just air (like a fan). We complained multiple times and kept getting excuses from the front desk, (even called management) I was given excuses, not a straight answer on when the A/C would be fixed. We were told the A/C was not broken, but the reality is that it was hot. Unfortunately, this affected our overall experience staying here as everything else was great!

It does not have nice decor but it is actually a very nice placr. Everything works perfectly. Showet wifi breakfast etc. The location is excellent. Depending on which room they give you, your room may be close to the street. The window blocks the noice quite well so it was not a problem for me... slept like a baby.

I stayed for 5 days in this fantastic B&B and everything was absolutely perfetct. The room was very clean and typical, the staff has always been kind and professional, the position is next to the central place of Amalfi and also the view by the terrace was amazing and very relaxing and you could enjoy your breakfast by looking at the wonderful landscape

Pros
Good location, central and next to supermarket
Decent size room
Free bottle of water in room
Nice view from rooftop
Cons
Small bathroom
Smelly shower system, difficult to shower in cubicle with a horrendous smell coming from the pipes when you turn the water on.
Supplied damp toilet paper, it looked like it had been dropped in the toilet and then left to dry before being given to a guest. I binned the full roll so they could see that I wasn't impressed with their dirty cost cutting methods.
In room safe didn't work, they said they would fix it but didn't
Cheap and unhealthy breakfast, lacks variety and is not fresh. The same old stale items are served until someone eats them or they rot. The bread had mould on it.
Weird vibe from owner lady. I think this was from trying to be friendly. It was just awkward.
Overall I was glad to check out of this place. I felt uncomfortable here. Far better value at other places. Not recommended.

LAntico Convitto is a boutique hotel right in the heart of Amalfi town. We spent 4 days there. Upon our arrival, our host Gennaro warmly greeted us and gave us brief introduction to the history of Amalfi. Sofia, who works at the reception, was very efficient and helped us with our reservations and travel arrangements....thank you Sofia! for all the restaurant recommendations. The breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious with freshly made coffee by Rosario. We had at least 3 cups of coffee every morning. I’m afraid that I’ll never be able to enjoy coffee anywhere else. Gennarro fully supports the local Amalfi economy from the beautiful tiles used in the remodeling of 500 year old building...to the local singer’s music in the breakfast area...to encouraging local guides by arranging complimentary walking tours. We took a tour of Amalfi with Michelangelo, who is an historian and passionate about the region. Thank you all for making this a memorable vacation. We will certainly be back soon.

Lovely little hotel in great location with good breakfast and friendly helpful staff, only thing that could make it better is a jacuzzi on their great terrace like neighbouring hotel in same building hotel fontanella has that they don't seem to share. 5*

We were greeted by very friendly staff that suggested taking a ferry to Positano for a few hours to shop and tour the city, which we did, and we loved it! Our room was beautiful, and our breakfast was delicous! We really enjoyed our stay in Amalfi and would gladly return again!!

The owner, Gennaro, was a caring, informative host & his main reception clerk, Nello, was very helpful. Both of them answered all our questions, arranged whatever we needed & provided plenty of background & history on the town and the Amalfi region. There were 2 issues, however, 1 which they were able to resolve and 1 which they could not. The first was that the room we were initially assigned was right on the main street where all the restaurants and shops were and it was noisy every night until 2 in the morning. Even with good windows, it was a problem. We asked to be moved & they were very willing to do what they could to accommodate us, but unfortunately because of how booked they were, that meant having to move twice during a 5 night stay. My advice is if you like your peace & quiet, stay at the other hotel Gennaro owns in the same building named L'Antico Convitto. It's only a little more expensive & it is quieter & has better views. It's also on the same floor as reception and breakfast, which was more convenient than the lower floor where Palazzo Pisani is located. The second issue was not unique to the Palazzo Pisani. It turned out to be a very unseasonably cold May in southern Italy & all of the quainter hotels had turned off their heat and couldn't turn it back on. We had to sleep under a pile of blankets in both Rome and Amalfi for the 8 nights we were there. Guess that is just the breaks sometimes.

The owner is amazing. He really takes care of you and makes sure you feel comfortable. He helped me plan my day with extensive information and maps where he highlighted what I needed to know to get me where I wanted. I was a single female traveling alone and felt completely safe and comfortable. I had a great and easy stay!
