As an overall experience it was a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and the room comfortable and well presented. Breakfast again was well presented and tasty. The only negative comment is that parking is limited.

Stayed here for one night after landing at Gatwick as it was a reletiveky short distance away. The building is lovely, in a very quiet area. The rooms are classic for an older property with sloping floors, that took some getting use to, but added to the character. The restaurant and bar were great, very bespoke design and stylish, but as the weather was good we got to sit on the terrace. The food was exceptional but only ecliosed by the staff. They were freindly, helpful polite and could not do enough. Overall this is a great place to staff, if not to visit and if it were closer to home we would be there all the time.

Charming little inn with one of the best breakfasts the I have ever had. You can walk anywhere in Tunbridge Wells from here and enjoy the park grounds.

Beautiful, old, slightly quirky but charming property - excellent staff and great food, can't speak highly enough of the place, may well return to Tonbridge Wells just to stay there again, but the town has plenty going for it too..

Great food, room amazing (we booked a suite). Staff were lovely. Ten minute walk into town but very hilly so you would have to drive in if you had any walking problems. Would highly recommend.

Amazing hotel definitely recommended. Room was well decorated and very comfortable with a lovely shower! The pub downstairs was a great addition and the breakfast excellent!

Everything was fine till we found out my cash was taken from my carry on bag! The whole pile of $100x10 USD! Very disappointing and upsetting! We made a police report in the Kent police department! They have contacted us but we doubt anything will come out of this as there were no cameras outside of our room! We were out if our room the whole day so there was plenty of time for anyone to enter our room! Our first experience at a bed and breakfast and needless to say a very disappointing to say the least ! I normally put valuables in the safe however, we didn’t one the night before ! We were informed there was one in the room under the coffee machine! Very upsetting and felt violated !

Very friendly hotel and we were upgraded so always a bonus. Stayed for dinner which was good but breakfast was delicious. Will be returning next year 😁

The Mount Edgcumbe was perfectly adequate for our one night stay. I would prefer more choice at breakfast and a more 'help yourself option'. Waiting for staff to ask for more coffee was a bit lengthy.

Really enjoyable stay. Staff were lovely and made us very welcome, fitting us in for a meal at short notice. Gorgeous food and the room was beautiful. Very convenient location for Tunbridge Wells and surrounding attractions. Would definitely recommend.

Mount Edgecumbe is a charming property with a small amount rooms, a wonderful restaurant & bar, and wonderful staff. I highly recommend!!!

I travel to Tunbridge Wells for business a lot and have stayed in most of the hotels in the area. The Mount is by far my favourite, beautifully decorated rooms with a boutique feel and a fabulous bar and restaurant. The rooms are compact but cozy and the breakfast is always delicious

Lovely comfortable modern rooms and great breakfast. Quiet area and friendly staff with a really easy scenic walk into town. The hotel looks a bit tired as you arrive but it is fully done up inside while maintaining its character.

I think this has to be one of my all-time favourite hotels. It's in a perfect location for The Pantiles. It's quirky and individual, beautiful rooms. The service and staff are great. I will definitely stay there again.

Lovely stay at this beautiful boutique pub with rooms. Ate in the restaurant in the evening which was delicious. The room was compact but perfectly laid out with lovely little touches and a unique style. I visit this area often for work and have stayed in many hotels in the area, this is by far my favourite. Look forward to returning soon

Lovely welcome, rooms are small but well designed and deco is lovely. Comfy king size bed. Room was hot, air conditioner too loud and window could not be opened. En-suite small but well designed and good shower. We ate in the evening and the food, beer and service was good. Breakfast was excellent. Would stay again and recommend.

My wife and I got married in Tunbridge Wells this bank holiday weekend. We stayed in suite 2A of the hotel for 3 nights. It was a beautiful, spacious suite and was perfect for the bridal party to get ready in. They even left us a nice bottle of prosecco as a wedding present. Our guests occupied all the other rooms also and they all left as happy as we did with their stay. The staff here were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food was lovely too. We had the unfortunate luck of breaking down so had to wait a very long time for the RAC to come. However, the Mount Edgcumbe team were more than happy to let us sit around and wait for the best part of the day. Thank you for your hospitality.

We loved everything about our stay at The Mount Edgcumbe. The place was absolutely charming, the food was good and the service was impeccable. It is very well located and even with a busy restaurant and bar, our room was very quiet and peaceful. And I couldn't believe how comfortable and soft the beds were!
