It was clean and nicely decorated. Most staff members were friendly and helpful but some didn't even say hello. Breakfast was good.

The couch was dirty. The room was incredibly small with no views out the one small window. The mattress was firm and slid around. The bathroom door is a rolling door. If you aren’t looking for much…this would be fine!

Easy check in, tasty breakfast, easy accrss to the swimming pool

Booked for two nights, only had two towels and wash clothes for two people. They only clean room ever other day so we had to call for towels for the second day. And the door they had us park at didn’t work with the hotel card. Had to walk around to the other side door to get in. Beds were comfy!

Great location, close to all Duluth activities.

The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. My husband loved the breakfast. Our only issue was the man above us stomped around all night... But would differently stay there again.

We had a whining dog in the room next to us. I called the desk and they asked the owners to please quiet the dog which they did. Was a good stay at the Hampton Inn. Check in people were friendly and breakfast was very good.

Great Stay.

Nice clean hotel. We were only here for one night and this hotel met our needs. We’d stay here again.

Overall good experience. Room and bathroom are large, updated, and clean. Dogs are allowed, which is great. Only complaint is that the AC unit was very loud and kept us up at night. We contacted the front desk the next morning and they replaced the unit. The new AC unit was much more quiet.

Loved common area.

Everything was excellent. Loved the common area, which served very good breakfast options in the AM, and was open for congregating with friends and family in the evening. Only complaints: strange smell in carpet in our room and bathroom drain was slow. I should have brought to management's attention, so my fault for not doing so. Wonderful staff.

Staff turned away my son who was bringing coffee and donuts. Had him go outside to call me instead of just calling my room. They called my room to let me know they couldn't give him my room number AFTER they had him leave. It could have been handled better

Very comfortable bedding. Super soft sheets, room was very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff wasn’t there I had to wait for him to arrive so I could check in.

It’s a Hampton, so you know what you get. Good place to sleep and always clean. Nice breakfast with friendly staff. Not much options to eat, 3-4 restaurants.

Handicapped accessible room was spacious. Relatively comfortable beds. No walk in shower, but tub level was pretty low. Odd smell in the room - carpet needed more than vacuuming - bare feet got dirty very quickly.

I love the attention to details. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The window was large and had three different types of window treatments from a light diffusing shade to black-out . No need to bring shampoo or soap - the bathroom had large dispensers of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. I loved the Zero% products . Two of the shelves in the bathroom were pull outs making it easy to store away and access to your personal items. The lighting was excellent! Soft but bright enough to put on make-up and see clearly. We were provided with plenty of towels - not just one each. I liked there was a separate fan switch in the bathroom. A coffee maker was provided with plenty of coffee along with a microwave and mini frig. The TV was mounted on a swivel so it was easy to see from the bed or sofa. . Yes- there was a sofa in the room that was very comfortable. The room had a nice desk area with a very nice desk lamp. The room provided everything we needed. We also enjoyed the breakfast every morning. There was a wonderful selection of tasty items including real sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh mixed fruit, yogurts, cereals , oatmeal with a variety of toppings, fresh bakery items( yum) along with a variety of juices and filtered water. In addition, bananas ,oranges and apples. The breakfast area was staffed with two employees who were very thoughtful and made sure there was plenty of fresh food, and the tables were always clean.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional! Very friendly and accomodating. Always checking to make sure things were ok.

Groups of youth athletes made it impossible to sleep. They were running up and down the hallways knocking on doors until late in the night. Team members had their names on the doors so those not with the teams were easily identifiable. Parents were partying downstairs and staff seemed to have little power to intervene. This happened when I was there last year too. If this occurs at my next scheduled stay, I will permanently avoid staying there. Other guests relayed similar experiences to me.

Property was mostly fine. Our room was clean. However, the biggest drawback was that it smelled like someone had a hookah party in it the day before. We arrived late and didn't feel like switching rooms so we blasted the fan on high for a couple of hours to air it out. Price was right for a hotel in the Duluth area in June. If it stays that way might stay here again. If not...probably not.

It was near a couple of restaurants. The pool was not looking clean.
