The hotel is filthy. Carpets, elevators, walls, bathroom, hallways. I’ve never stayed in a Holiday Inn Express that was so dirty. We actually had to switch rooms after the first night. Management was helpful, but did not change the fact that the hotel was filthy.

Quiet

I had a room with a door to the adjacent room. Very poor sound insulation between the rooms. I could hear the person snoring loudly in the room behind me and the women in the adjacent room as if they were in my room. They were loud and showed up late. I got no sleep. I asked to be moved to another room the next morning and was moved to a quieter part of the floor. Very poor sound insulation between rooms.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was average offerings but fresh and stocked throughout. Beds were comfortable The outdoor pool however, was in need of attention as a black algae outbreak along with typical green algea was present throughout the pool.

We requested personally from housekeeper a clean up for our room Night 1 Not done but since we were leaving after Night 2. We made No big deal

Overall it was ok. The elevators and overall lobby area were kinda of dirty. The gentleman that checked me in was nice and helpful. Unfortunately, beyond their control, there were a couple of safety issues that made me feel very uneasy. A woman (possibly homeless) was parked in the very front of the building asleep in her car. She was laying back with her door open and foot hanging out of it. We initially thought she might be in distress, but a closer look revealed she was just asleep. When we returned an hour later, she was still there, but staff was attempting to have her removed. It was just an uneasy feeling. We left again to run to the store and upon returning, we got onto the elevator and instantly smelled weed. We thought it was just the scent of someone who had recently been in the elevator, but when the doors opened we saw two young males sitting on the floor just outside the elevator smoking weed. It was undeniable and extremely thick. We licensed to our room choosing to just ignore it, but I had to run to my car and as I walked by I got a huge whiff of smoke in my face and it just irritated me. When I got to the lobby I decided to let the front desk know about it and I proceeded to my car. When I returned to my floor, the front desk attendant proceeded to bring attention to me as being the person who reported them by thanking me in front of them. While I understand his intention, that immediately made me uneasy and I spent the rest of the evening feeling unsafe.

The entire staff were very welcoming and friendly; the breakfast was amazing and the service was exceptional. The ambiance of the hotel was very relaxing and property well kept.

Very dirty. Room and hotel smelled interesting. Pool needs cleaned. Floor in room looked like it needed cleaned as there were bugs and hair everywhere.

Noisy. Interconnecting rooms allowed light and noise in.

The bathroom doors to the handicap room has spaces on both sides when shut that you can see in the bathroom. We are not handicapped but our first room had an issue with the bathroom lights so they changed our room to a handicapped room.

Staff was amazing, price and cleanliness was great

It was a typical stay but our biggest complaint was the lack of blackout curtains. The pool area lights were on and lit up our room all night.

Limited parking space

The only reason for not giving a 5 is for the parking around the hotel. Parking was very difficult when full or almost full, so just another option for parking and this would have been an exceptional stay. Staff was delightful, and the room was very clean!

We traveled to dripping springs to attend a dear friends wedding. Our stay was very comfortable and the holiday inn was very clean. It was convenient, the parking was great and the staff was amazing. We would definitely come stay again if in the area.

Everything was excellent, service was impeccable and prompt. Hotel was in great condition and easy to access.

Our stay was wonderful. Staff was amazing and helpful. Breakfast was great as well.

Overall, the stay was good. We were there for 1 night for a family event in the area. My husband got a fantastic night sleep which is a big win! Bed was comfortable and clean. The pool looked fun. The breakfast was really good too (fresh scrambled eggs, make your own pancakes, oatmeal, yogurt, etc). Clementines & bananas available in lobby all day. We did have some complaints though. We didn't have much time to be in the room before our event but found out later that the room did have a broken toilet seat, no shampoo in the bottle, and the darkening shade didn't close all the way. The walls were somewhat thin as I could hear others next door - luckily that did not impede our sleep. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating and took a little off our bill for the inconveniences. It was a good stay although I didn't think it was worth the $300/night we paid.

This was the best Holiday Inn we have ever stayed at. The room was a lot bigger & so was the bathroom. We didn’t feel crammed in a room.
