Just a real basic room. Something you’d get in a college dormitory. The people were very friendly and it was clean and they had a very accessible restaurant that was UNaffordably priced just like all of Iceland

Service was excellent and the food was extremely good (we had lobster feast at the restaurant and breakfast buffet)
Comfortwise - the room was quite cool with no apparent way to control the temperature and the pillows were very lumpy. Also the room was clean but not immaculate therefore the four stars.

Unfortunately the pictures made this hotel look nicer than in reality. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice but the room and bathroom were quite tiny. This stay felt more like a motel than a hotel. The walls were thin and it was easy to hear neighboring rooms.

We arrived at the hotel around 3pm, thinking it would be the time for checkin, like all the hotels we stayed before on this trip. But the checkin was 4pm and our room was not ready yet. The hotel entrance was very nice so we were happy, but only till we got our room. We were given the room outside the main building, in building 5 which was a 2-story building across the street. We asked for a room in the main building but was told no room left. And we found out that there is no elevator in any of the buildings.
We went to our room in building 5 - it was like a motel. The room was very small, and absolutely no storage - no drawers, no shelves, nothing. Aside from the bed, there is only 1 chair (and 1 very small table). The bathroom was tiny, the shower was just a curtain separating the sink and toilet. I cannot believe we were charged the price for a hotel room but had a room like this. And it was my birthday .... The light in the hallway was on a motion detector and it would only detect motion when you came through the entrance of the hallway, not when you come out of your room. And the light was defective, so it blinked and blinked - quite creepy. If you need anything, you must either drive or walk to the main building. For the two nights we really did not feel like coming back ....
No complaints about the service. Our cleaning staff brought us a second chair and was accommodating and helpful.

We stayed 2 nights. Because of a weather alert from our car rental company, the front desk manager decifered the alert for us and we were on our way!

The common areas and two dining spaces were very nicely appointed and the buffet breakfast was perfect.
The rooms were less appointed with aged, scratched furniture and bathroom quite small

Room has a good layout for 3 beds, functional and clean. The bath room is bit smelly in the shower area. Otherwise everything else is good.

Hotel restaurant wasn’t great unlike other hotels we stayed at in Iceland.
The rooms are also extremely small with an even smaller bathroom for the price paid.
The only plus side was the breakfast buffet selection was really good.

Had a great stay. Wasn’t there long and the weather wasn’t great so didn’t get to explore much but the hotel was lovely, clean and friendly staff. Just very limited parking

Hotel was clean and the room somewhat comfortable, the bathroom was small however.
My main concern was no elevator/lift and our room was on 3rd floor. Luckily they had someone to help with luggage up the stairs, but after a long day outside exploring, 3 flights to the room felt daunting ...

Good breakfast. Restaurant on very limited menu due to staff shortages so you’ll need to look around for restaurants that have space. They all get very full so plan ahead.

The hotel was ok. I was surprised to find that our rooms were in a different building than the hotel office. We unpacked all of our bags and had to walk over to another building across the street for our room. The buildings seemed less updated than the hotel office. Staff was great.

This is a lovely little hotel with a great restaurant. My only complaints would be that the rooms are quite small, even by European standards, and some are in different buildings, which means you need to go outside in order to access the main building, restaurant, etc. Also, the parking lots have some low points in them, so when it rains there's giant puddles to maneuver. Having said that, it served our purposes nicely and the dinner at the restaurant was exceptional.

Nice and clean. Good location. The lady in the front desk was SUPER kind and helpful! Our car was broken that morning. She helped me call the rental company and road service very patiently and comforted me all the time. It was not enough just to say “Thank you”.

The property is near the sea and the view from the 2nd floor breakfast hall is very beautiful. The breakfast is very good.

As mentioned by others, this hotel is dated and our room had an odour. However, the room was very clean.
Although the hotel does state this, there is NO elevator for this hotel. Fortunately, the front desk clerk brought both of our bags up to our third floor room for us.
We had a comfortable sleep but in the future I’d look for a different place to stay before booking at this hotel again. I probably would not return unless this was my only option.
We much preferred the Milk Factory hotel that was nearby.

We arrived after midnight and were greeted with a kind welcome. We needed a cot set up in our second room: all was ready for us. We wish we could have stayed a bit longer to enjoy it he beautiful dining area. Maybe next visit!

Mom with 2 kids under 15 years of age. Walking distance, breakfast was AMAZING!! Best breakfast at a hotel we’ve ever had. And the cutest little kitty cats that ran up to us and jumped in my car…twice. So cute and loving! Beautiful location.

Unfortunately I cannot give this hotel a better rating. Bed sheets were torn, the property is outdated. The restaurant was below par: while I am not fussy this was unacceptable. I ordered the fish, which came with deep frozen vegetables. The area is very nice though with access to a coastal trail and only a few minutes to the main area with additional restaurants
