Awesome hosts, decadent breakfasts and evening treats. Very clean, quite, comfortable and convenient to downtown. Beautiful property. Exactly what we were hoping for. Will definitely be back.

This place is all around magnificent! The owners make you feel like you’re their most important guest every time you interact with them. The room we stayed in was large, charmingly decorated with very comfortable bedding. During this particularly cold weekend, we never felt uncomfortably cold or too hot. There was a furnace which controlled the temperature for the house, but in our room we also had an electric “fireplace”, a fan if we needed it and an air conditioner we could’ve used. The bathroom and dressing area were both large and updated. Towels were soft and thick. Two bathrobes were just icing on the cake! And speaking of cake…the breakfasts here are an event!! Served in different china and linens every morning, our table was set in one of two sitting rooms with its own real wood-burning fireplace. The two-course breakfast is a treat which is expertly and meticulously crafted by the owner herself and her staff in her magical kitchen. Every room is meant to welcome you and entice you to sit a while and enjoy the lost art of conversation. The grounds are lovely with different gardens that I’m sure are lovely in spring and summer. The quintessential front porch has another sitting area and of course a porch swing! I didn’t care it was cold, I swung! I can’t wait to go back. This was the first of what I hope will be many happy stays at the Carolina Bed &Breakfast for me and my family!!!

Food was fantastic!

We stayed in the cottage so we had great privacy. Diana and Kevin were great hosts. We had homemade breakfast every morning! Boy can they cook! Every evening little homemade desserts were delivered to our room! Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff. Gave informative info on local area restaurants, sights, etc. wonderful breakfast.

Diana was an amazing host! Everything was incredible from the neighborhood to the room and don't forget about the cookies! I can't wait to plan another trip.

Highly recommend! The rooms are comfortable and cozy and the house itself is beautiful. Diana is so gracious and accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious! Diana even sent us on our way with a to-go breakfast due to us having to early. Don’t miss Nine Mile- a small Caribbean restaurant around the corner. Thanks, Diana!!

What an amazing BREAKFAST for this b n b!! Gourmet is not even the word, over the top quality! Wish we had champagne and apps on arrival, but looks like they were with a full house! Great location, great communucation.

I would recommend exercising caution before booking at this bed and breakfast. An unfortunate mountain biking incident earlier in my trip prevented me from continuing with reservation. While other places allowed me to cancel or reschedule my stay, this place would not. The booking provisions are silent on rescheduling and the chances of them rebooking to allow for a partial refund are slim. Please be informed of the risks with booking with this company especially with the increase in COVID that could result in last minute changes to your plans. It is understandable that this is a small business but patrons should at a minimum be allowed to modify their existing reservations.

The 120 year old house was comfortable and relaxing. The location was great; walking distance to downtown; quite treelined neighborhood.

I would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends and family.

it was a great experience, no problems

This is a lovely home with very pretty landscaped gardens! Diana and Kevin were gracious hosts. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated. Our room had 2 cozy chairs and a king bed with a small tv and a fireplace, although it was summer and we didn’t use it. There were nice quality linens on the bed and the mattress was comfortable. We slept well. The breakfast was gourmet and delicious! Fresh squeezed juice, coffee and all kinds of different teas. This historic home does have its unusual qualities, like a odd style bathroom/closet set up, but that is the whole charm of staying in an historic property! Overall we enjoyed the Montfort neighborhood, as it is walkable and very pretty, with downtown Asheville within walking distance. Restaurants are also walkable, but be sure to get reservations ahead. Although we only stayed 1 night, a long weekend would permit more time to enjoy Montfort and downtown Asheville.

Wonderful B&B. Beautiful front porch which we used every night. Special treats every night was a nice bonus too. Hosts were very accommodating and the breakfast was delicious a d eclectic.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Carolina bed-and-breakfast! We will be back for sure. The staff was incredible at making us feel at home while we were on vacation. The room was so cozy and had everything we would ever think to need! We had a morning walk around the neighborhood, which is absolutely beautiful. Afterwards, we were served an amazing breakfast from our hospitable new friends!

I definitely recommend Carolina Bed and Breakfast if you’re visiting Asheville. The location is great. We were able to walk downtown to restaurants and breweries. We stayed in the cottage and it was wonderful. Very stylish, clean and comfortable. There was even a Keurig with different K cup and creamer options if you love your morning (or afternoon) cup of coffee. Breakfast was delicious and our host Diana made us feel like family.

A lovely, charming B&B, original home, so many interesting details, carefully furnished, very cozy. Staff is so accomodating, very clean, comfy rooms, and great food Also, sweet little areas in the back garden to sit and enjoy a book or cup of coffee.

What an incredible play to stay! The cottage is perfect- the linens, towels, robes are all of top quality, but let me tell you what the real amazing thing is... THE BREAKFAST! Wonderful hosts, beautiful public spaces. If your looking for a quiet, romantic, beautiful place to stay while visiting anywhere in/near Asheville THIS IS THE PLACE!

BEST B&B experience I've ever had and with the most gracious and kind owners. Perfectly located about a mile from downtown, ample parking, excellent breakfasts and wonderful rooms and beds. Can’t wait to go back!

Stay was amazing. The proprietors could not have been nicer and the food was amazing. Great location just minutes from downtown.

We spent four nights at the Carolina Bed & Breakfast (Dec 28-31) and couldn't have been happier. The home is absolutely beautiful and currently elegantly decorated for Christmas. You'll find this BnB is in a great location in the historic neighborhood of Montford, and very close to downtown. Diana's scrumptious breakfasts each morning held us well into mid-afternoon. Everything was beautifully presented, flavorful, and filling. You have all day/night access to tea, coffee, cookies, and soda. An evening sweet snack was delivered to every room by Kevin, which we found extra special. Guests have a lot of privacy, and Diana is available when and if you need her. Covid-19 mandates were implemented and followed which made us feel very comfortable. We stayed in the lovely Goldfinch Room and slept well every night. On departure day we left very early before breakfast and Diana prepared a grab and go bag with raspberry and white chocolate scones, fresh fruit, and yogurt for us, as well as to-go coffee for the road. Everything was amazing! If we visit Asheville again I know where we'll be staying.

It was embodies everything you think of when you want to stay at a B&B. Beautiful home in lovely neighborhood located close to downtown. Comfortable and homey bedroom and public spaces. Amazing breakfast and easy access to yummy beverages throughout the day. Nightly cookie delivery was delicious and nice extra touch. The owners are great and provided lots of great ideas. We are already planning our return visit.
