This was my first time staying at Swahita and I was so impressed by the value, the cleanliness, the delicious breakfasts, and the friendliness of the staff. Absolutely would recommend this hotel!

Very pleasant! Very clean and well kept, nice rooms with jungle view from balcony, pool big enough to swim in, lovely garden, helpful and nice staff, great breakfast. I stayed 2 months. Convenient location close to central Ubud. Many restaurants nearby.

A quiet oasis of a hotel a short walk from the main road in Ubud (though may be a little far for some). The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful in planning a day trip for me, and always remembered my name. The room was spacious and very clean, with a lovely view of the rainforest from the balcony. Good airconditioning and nice bathroom. I loved relaxing by the pool in the afternoons after exploring in the morning. There was breakfast included but unfortunately the restaurant is not open for lunch or dinner. Hangout restaurant nearby had some of the best food that I had during my time in Bali.

The staff is amazing and they take care of you so well but the rooms (or at least the one I stayed in) are falling apart. There was a huge hole in my bathroom wall that made me nervous about critters and a lot of the finishes were rusted and old. On the upside I felt safe as a female solo traveler. It’s so incredibly close to everything while still being tucked away from all the Ubud city center noise

Visit Ubud for 4 nights planned was 5 due to flight cancellation we miss one night,
Hotels.com didn’t reply then try to adjust the dates.
The Swahita reply soonest on the mail so the have the reservations then we arrived.
The service and assist for transport and over request.
The only thing we missing was isn’t possible to get food on evening.

We stayed at Swahiti for 4 nights and yes while the building is dated it is extremely clean comfortable and the surrounds peaceful. The pool is amazing to cool off in, after a big day.
BUT it’s the staff that make Swahita special. They are the most exceptional people you will ever meet. Friendly courteous helpful and even in a 4.9 earthquake they remained calm and informative of what we may need to do. Even when they were very busy with a full house, their service never altered. You won’t be disappointed.

Hotel surrounding was very quiet and calm. Hotel staff also very friendly and helpful. They arranged a free surprise birthday decoration in the room with a birthday cake for my daughter and she really surprised with it. Really thankful to the staff for arranging everything with short notice!🙏
The room was spacious but facilities are less comparatively. (No face tissues or disposable slippers) Our bathroom shower water pressure was very low, but it was ok in our friends’ rooms. Breakfast was good, but it is not a buffet, but you have few options to choose from.
Overall our stay was nice and recommended to the travellers who prefer quiet and peaceful surroundings.

My stay at Swahita was absolutely amazing. The staff is so incredibly kind and make a point of knowing your name, checking in on your plans and seeing if you need any help. This was so helpful for me, as it’s my first time in Bali and I’m traveling solo. The property is to die for - it’s just SO beautiful and peaceful - the breakfasts are so yummy, and the massages were the best I’ve ever had! I will be sure to stay here again when I come back to Bali. Thank you so much to the Swahita staff for being so helpful and kind :) You all rock!!

I only stayed for one night but it was such a good experience! I arrived after midnight and staff was outside waiting for my arrival. The room and bathroom was big and included little nice amenities. I arrived to a yummy welcome drink and woke up to a delicious breakfast. The location was convenient and walkable to the Saraswati temple which was on my to do list. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend this hotel to be a short walk from the North side if Ubud town, a pretty / clean pool, great view out the balcony or terrace, kind helpful staff, and Air conditioner and wifi that work well. My room had a mini-fridge and a desk to work as well. Perfect for longer stays.

It’s a great place. I loved the attention from all the staff specially from the manager. He was super nice, attentive and very professional.
The down side of it, it is that they don’t give you wash towels neither hand towels. The breakfast is nice but very limited. Only 5 choices, same choices every single day. There are NOT vegetarian options. Only fruit smoothie, just one kind and maybe waffles.
On the other hand, the alley that leads to the hotel is very dark at night. There are lots of pot holes and uneven ground that could easily lead to an accident.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The service was amazing. The staff were do polite and very helpful . They check in with me everyday , I traveled solo ! I felt so safe , they would ask what I to do for the day and once I return how my day went .
The room was clean , I had a balcony view . The location was in the perfect area . Walking distance to the market , restaurant's even money forest.
I would definitely recommend this place and would plan to stay here again .

I loved my stay at Swahita. I was here for a week and I would have extended my stay here gladly! The staff is amazing, so friendly and attentive. They remember your name and your schedule and habits and always make a point to personalize the interaction. The room was great, the bathroom was nice and the balcony views were private. The AC kept the room cool, and the pool was always to perfect temperature. The rooms are not the most sound proof, but it was never an issue at night. Walkable to the center of Ubud and close to many great restaurants, spas, and convenient stores. I felt safe walking home even after dark. Will definitely be back here ! Thank you
