This resort is the most beautiful and intimate resorts, if you want to avoid big hotels like Hilton & Ritz Carlton, then book resorts that are locally owned such as this one. I personally despised big hotels, this was by far the best resort to fully experience Bali. Located in the heart of Ubud, deep in the jungle, the serene sounds of the jungle at night and during the day being near the locals rice fiends. The hotel also has free shuttle that is literally 8 min away from Ubud Center.

Breakfast was great ,pool really nice ,bed and pillows were really comfortable. Very commutating with late check out and for the late request for an additional bed for my daughter.
Room was a bit smelly and felt damp.

Beautiful pool and grounds.
Terrible issue with damp sheets a humidity in the room. I didn’t feel it was healthy. Still a problem even after the upgrade. We were put in a room no one should have to sleep in. The AC unit was full of mold.

Resort ended up messing up our reservation so we were put into the Nirwana suite which happened to be the largest one they had for 1/3 nights of our stay. After they moved our bags for us into the actual room we booked while we went downtown Ubud to shop and explore. Friendly staff, cheaper to get a massage downtown vs the spa they have. Nice rooms just wish they all had nets around the beds.
uneven paths, makes it difficult to carry heavy luggage across the resort.

All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely, with a great shower and bath! Very spacious.
Hotel looks slightly shabby in some places. There’s no light entering the suites and our pool pump fountain broke one morning and the sound was annoying!

Amazing setting in the jungle with beautiful decorations as you entered and walk around the hotel. The food was good too, lovely staff. Just wished the rooms were better maintained.
The noise, there was work all during the day next to the room and people moving chairs at all hours of the morning. Unfortunately we was on the bottom floor which the noises seem to seep through too. Didn’t sleep much because it sounded like Chewbakka attacking you at 3am. The smell in the room is a big problem, really damp smell that sticks on your clothes when you leave.

Our room was gorgeous & the bed was very comfortable! The private pool looked gorgeous but was a bit too cold for me to use as it was not heated.
The common area pool was great and the gardens were beautiful! Room service was also very good and well-priced.
The private pool is not heated, too cold for me to use

Great stay, room was so beautiful and clean. Also very nice and friendly staff. Specially Evina was so kind and a great host. There was a lovely red kitten at the resort who was the cutest.
I would like to come again.

Clean rooms and the beautiful pool environment.
Bad experience with the staff
My iPhone was stolen from my hotel room but they didn't allow me to view the cctv camera.
I didn't recover my phone to date, they refused to provide a letter indicating that I lost my phone so that I can go claim from my travel insurance.

Had a free upgrade to the pool suite! Room was very private and spacious, amenities provided were all very sufficient. Loved the bed and the outdoor bathtub! Service of the staff was immaculate, they were always all smiles and ever so friendly. Loved the views of the private paddy fields just outside the villa as well! Had a great stay!
Just that the location of the villa was slightly away from ubud central but they had free shuttle services with great communication on whatsapp! However the more secluded location also provided more serenity and peacefulness.

Pretty nice environment, viewing natural forests around the resort.
Very enjoyable in SPa
Lack experience check-in procedure. Passports didn't return to guests and left in the counter.
Taken 45 minutes check-in 2 rooms.
The room key doesn't work smoothly. We booked for two rooms, one room air-condition doesn't work.
All staff miscommunication.

Exquisite! We stayed in a spa suite, the room was HUGE! Next trip we have chosen a pool villa. The gardens and surrounds are beautifully maintained with a complete Balinese feel. The staff were INCREDIBLE, best out of four locations we stayed at this trip! Qnd the FOOD... we had 4 nights and only ate one meal elsewhere, it was that good! The afternoon activities were a lovely touch that we really enjoyed. The pool is just lovely, you feel like you are floating in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the beautiful ambience of Ubud nature. It was about a 5 minute scooter ride to the heart of Ubud, with complimentary shuttle service also available.
Great additions would be a daily happy hour for cocktails and replacement of the shower screens as they detract from the cleanliness of the property. Everything else was spot on!

The pool area is nice
Very unclean rooms, musty mouldy and dusty. The bedding was literally brown. This place is in need of a major deep clean and renovation it was not a nice stay.

Very beautiful and tropical, the staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The pool is stunning and the spa is a must.
No shops walking distance however it is a short 10 minute drive to the main part of Ubud.

Lovely stay in one of the private pool villas. Lot's of privacy to enjoy our honeymoon. The rooms are large and the bed super comfortable.
The drinks menu was very limited.
The ride to town using a hotel taxi was 3 times more expensive!

The staff is friendly, very helpful and always has a smile for you
The hotel is designed beautifully and decorated with great taste, you can snap a picture everywhere
The food at the restaurant was amazing we have booked the Saturday special dinner with the balinese dance show and all dances were beautiful and well executed, the breakfast is tasty and they have many formulas you can choose from. Anggi took good care of us, she's so sweet.
The room has met our expectations, very clean and classy with a balinese touch
Please do not miss the spa, this is my second time there and it won't be my last I hope, Padma took good care of me and the lady at the front office was too sweet.
The infinity pool has an amazing view on the valley, ideal for sunbathing and cocktails.
Nothing that I can mention, maybe the price? But again it can be justified by the exceptional client experience

Very nice, very clean. Villa with pool was superb if not for the night noises.
We booked a river pool villa and I must say room was very nice. However, it rained a lot during our stay so the first night there was water leaking from the ceiling which was fixed as soon as we told them by placing plastic on the outer part of the villa.
The second night, there was a very loud noise in our room during the night. It was a constant noise, like a very loud frog, it was so loud that we were thinking that the frog was inside the villa. we could not sleep so we had to change the room in the middle of the night. The management said that since the room is in the jungle it is normal to hear such noises in a tropical environment. Villa was then changed to another one but this time it was not in the jungle.
A lot of stairs to get to the jungle villa.
Hotel is not in the city, if you do not have a bike it is not easy to go to the centre.
