Super good breakfast!!

I loved Candeo group and this is my 4th times staying with the group. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is wonderful. However my staying this time is not good. When I checked in, they arranged me to a non-check out room. When I went into the room, someone’s luggage and belongings are still in the room. Luckily, no one was there, or else it can be awkward and embarrassing. There was security issue. The next day, my friend’s room was left opened for the whole day after cleaning. The security latch was holding the door opened. We don’t know how long that was left open but we were back at 7pm plus when we found out. It simply feel so scary. Luckily my friend checked nothing missing. The bed was also too soft this time. This also make me feel disappointed.

Excellent experience The only minor negative thing was The hotel put a time limit and reservations for breakfast but they were very flexible when I changed the time .

Front desk folks professional and are knowledgeable to customer needs. So nice I stayed a second night. Lots of shopping and food close by. Got lost finding the hotel, took JR and got off at Kobe station. You need to get off at Motomachi or Sannomiya station.

Always love their great spa at roof top

Location of this hotel is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the city centre, in between 2 main railway stations. Hotel parking is just across the road (<5mins walk), but the price was a bit too expensive I think (JPY2,300/night). Room space was okay, but the toilet size, I have to stress, must have been the smallest toilet we have ever had during our 30+ stays in Japan! Can hardly turn our body inside.

Very convenient to downtown sites

The location is good, and the room is big in Japanese standard. There were a sofa like futon in our room which we could actually sit on. However I have to say that the public bath seems to have a lot of chlorine in it. It is best to rinse off thoroughly after using it; otherwise your skin may get irritated just like mine. The pajama they provided are made of a lot of polyesters. It was not as comfortable as pajama provided by other hotels. Moreover, each guest were given a time slot to eat breakfast. I think it is 45 min each slot(?) Not that there is a lot of food for us to eat which took up the entire 45 min, but it was a feeling of time limit that made us cannot relax. Breakfast food was just ok. One last thing I need to mention is that the hotel's shampoo/conditioner/soap smells like either peppermint or rosemary which I am not a big fan of. For those who does not like those smell, it is best to bring your own soap and shampoo.

A great hotel - better than I was expecting. Decent sized room, big window, very contemporary and clean. Desk staff was attentive and helpful, the breakfast was good!

The Hotel is well positioned and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. The rooftop onsen is definitely a plus

Great location good price, wonderful staff

This is in the bustling area of Sannomiya and a quick 5 minute walk to the train station. Super convenient, clean, and affordable. I saw both local and international tourists during our stay. All the staff were great! I liked the washer and dryer and breakfast buffet. My only feedback would be to leave the free toothbrushes and pjs in the lobby for people to pick up if they need it - I felt bad they kept replenishing our supply of both in our rooms. I will stay here again and would recommend this hotel.

Candeo Hotel is one of my favorite place to stay in Kobe. Professional staff, room with nice design, good breakfast the Onsen is really appreciated.

The mattress is neither too soft nor too hard, perfect, I have nice sleeps. The room is a little bit more spacious than regular, standard Japanese hotel room. The sound insulation is very nice as well.

Small room. No place for a suitcase. No USB outlets. Curtains don’t block out the sunlight. Noise from the adjacent train line. Nice rotenburo and sauna.

Nice hotel, great location but not very accommodating service. When I wanted to have the breakfast, they told me I was not allowed as I had to have booked in advance. Not a great way to treat a guest who is happy to pay ¥1,800.

Excellent location approaching the railway station. Facilities are also designed to meet our needs such as hot spring. Approaching the China town with so many different kinds of restaurants such as Canton + Hong Kong Dim Sum & Yam Cha, Shanghai, Szechuan and Peking. Shopping streets are also nearby so that no worries of how to enjoy your stay over there!
