The room was great, slightly basic but it had what we needed. The location was great - everything within walking distance. The staff were friendly and were happy to let us check in early. They are very accommodating and allow you to leave your bags on the day of check out to collect at a later time. Only criticism is that it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. There is a kettle in the reception area which you can use, but it was a bit of a pain to be back and forth.

Very conveniently located. The room and bathroom were both very small - as expected in the city - but there was a fridge and kettle provided. It was pretty clean. No aircon and the balcony doors opened on to a fairly busy street. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Great location. Waking distance to the old town without being in the middle of it. Staff was very accommodating.

Pension la Perla is centrally located on a main pedestrian street that is a bit noisy at all hours. The rooms were very, very small, especially the bathrooms. The Pension was clean, but the rooms are close together and we could hear the other guests, despite them trying to be quite and considerate.

The ladies on reception were ever so helpful and kind pointing out nice places to eat and enjoy the town. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast option too. Good location near to the town, beaches and the park.

This location was perfect for us as it was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do in San Sebastian. Just a 2-block walk to the beach and less than half a mile to Old Town, where we frequented for amazing pintxos and dinner. The facilities itself were wonderful and almost perfect for what we needed. The only constructive criticism I have would be to have a laundry service because our only option was to walk a ways with all our laundry to a laundromat. We just made do with the clothes we had because we didnt want to waste an afternoon doing laundry

Just wonderful. Great location, and quite different from my previous one in San Seb (by the Jesus-hill); this area is more modern, though traditional, and close to so many great bars, restaurants, the beaches .... And the pension couldn't been more flexible. Got a huge balcony too. And late checkout. Thank you for making this trip even better!!! Stuff to check out nearby (apart from the beaches and 2–3 hills around, which are 'musts'): Pub Drop (micro ale bar), Takatak (natural wine and TOP food), Mas Que Café by the bridge (just go there... breakfast / lunch / whatever- super good, and prices outstanding + by the water), Arenzana (rope shop ...!), Valles tapas (and the rest of the area nearby Pub Drop, mentioned above, behind the old cathedral, Café Rubi (work and super nice in general). ENJOY!!!!

Very well located near shops, restaurants, bars, and within a short walk to the beach; directly next to the large grocery store. The balcony door kept out quite a bit of noise. Fridge in the room which was convenient. Downsides: The room was a bit small but thats too be expected in the city. No AC which made for quite a warm stay. The bed isnt the most comfortable.

Without air conditioning, they needed to provide a basic fan. The room was so stuffy and we needed to leave the window open and therefore could not sleep due to the all night noise from the street. A fan would have solved that

Really happy with our choice of hotel. The receptionist was amazing - so helpful. It was perfectly situated, right near the Cathedral. The room was cute and comfortable. The fridge and microwave were a bonus. We would definitely stay here again!

Property was like a hostel setting. Private rooms on the first floor of a very nice building. Check in was quick and easy. The room was very small with a bed and very small private bathroom but very clean and well maintained. I'd stay here again.

Everything was truly fantastic (location, staff, design/decor) EXCEPT walls are paper thin so I got woken up plenty of times by neighbors having sex, talking, rearranging furniture, etc. Really too bad, because otherwise I’d give it a 5 star.
