The hotel was in a great location and had friendly staff there just seemed to be a drainage issue downstairs which stunk out the room and the rooms don’t have windows that can open. Once we changed rooms to upstairs it was fine.

The Marc hotel is somewhat of a huge let down. We arrived days before and stayed at another hotel (Persona), and walked over to speak to the front desk the day before our booking. The staff confirmed that we would have our room ready at a certain time. We showed up to be told that it would be hours - and our entire day was planned around getting in when they said we could.The room was small and cramped. The pool is basically useless - theres room for 3 people max on the pool deck. The food was blah. The staff wasnt great. Upon checkout we informed them that we broke a glass. A small water cup that they dangle on a small shelf in the middle of the room. Instead of being like any normal hotel - they ran around asking people how much to charge us. And finally came up with an arbitrary number that they decided was worth it (oh and it had to be cash). That number was $100,000 rp. $10 for a small cup?!? This was just the icing on the cake for this hotel that advertises itself as a luxury hotel - but the cheaper rooms down the street at Persona blew this place out of the water.

Near the beach and great location for night life. The water in bathroom came out to our room, the staff could not fix it. They offered us to change room and the new one was okay.

Fantastic place, perfect location for all the food and bars you need, also the food there is very good especially on the beach in the evenings just outside the hotel

The location was great and the hotel was very modern however the rooms were small, there was no mini bar (fridge) and the wifi wouldn't connect from our room downsrairs.

The pool overlooking the ocean was beautiful. Right on the main strip so there is no shortage of food and drinks. Plus this hotel has great drink specials!

The room decor and outward aesthetic of the hotel is beautiful. The restaurant service and food were really good. We enjoyed the live music at night and the ambience of the hotel. Our room however, was disappointing. There was only one robe and I found the other crumbled in the storage bin over the rack. The smell of the room was abhorrent... like sewer and rotten eggs, which flowed both from the toilet area and the ac unit. We had to turn it off just to stop the smell from over powering us. Luckily, we spent most of our day and evening outside, but had to stay in a warm room to avoid the smell. This was room 115 and should be out of order. Also, I understand that we are on an island but the sink water is salt water. Is there no water filtration system on the island that provides sink and bathing water that is not from the ocean?

1. No face towels in the room. Had to ask for. 2. Dirty pillow case (blood mark) 3. After room change, new room was dusty, no shower gel and shampoo in the room (and we found a dead mosquito below the luggage rack). 4. Missing shampoo from the hotel for 4 days out of 6 (they said the hotel ran out). And the shower gel was always just 1 tiny bottle (and we were 2 pax). 5. No laundry price list (it took the reception team 2 days to get me the price for some underwear). 7. No info about snorkeling (after 2 days of chasing, we simply booked outside the hotel). 8. Very extremely poor english (except for a couple of staff members, everything must be repeated at least 3 times before being understood... if you lucky). 9. The cleaning of the room is a joke (there was a stain of blood on the floor since we stepped in on the 1st day, I guess it is still there... and don’t get me started with the mirror and glasses in the toilet and shower: do they ever clean them?!) 10. If I may suggest you one thing guys: you are very good at greeting guests and smile but do not aver forget what is the most important in the customer service... the FOLLOW-UP! If a guest places a complaint, you must be sure by getting back to the guest that everything is great afterwards. It is a shame that we changed room after the 1st night (my gf did not like the room on the basement) and you gave us a room without checking if everything was ok... dead mosquito, dust, come on you guys, seriously?!?!?!

It was our anniversary and they had decorated our room so beautifully. Great staff and clean facilities!

Like the room design and there's a lot of restaurants and bars near by and also convenient store like 2 mins away, considered a good location for me. But the room smell like Urine and the cleanliness are bad... the cups and kettle was used when i checked in. For food not bad , still acceptable. Staff is friendly

The cocktails tasted horrible.Hard to communicate. Most of the employees did not understand or speak English well. It made it very difficult to communicate with them.The hotel has a good location and a nice pool, but that’s about it.

Couldn’t of had a more enjoyable and comfortable stay at Marc Hotel. Stylish rooms and very spacious. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food is top notch and reasonably priced. Only criticism I would say is they could put a few sun loungers on the decking area by the pool and on the artificial grass. But apart from that we had a lovely stay here. And would most definitely return if we were to come back to Gili T.

The place was really good, but the whole hotel is not fully finished yet, the swimming pool water was dirty. The wifi is really slow, but the location is really good, and the stuff was really friendly.

We loved this place. Our room was cleaned perfectly every single day. They upgraded us for free when we arrived. The room itself was beautiful (the chamberlain), though there isn’t a view. We were given a lot of notice about the construction but we weren’t bothered by it at all. The location is the most convenient on the island, right in the middle of all the restaurants and shops on the main strip. The breakfast options were good, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The infinity pool is gorgeous as well, and the seating in the reception and bar area is really cozy. The wifi wasn’t the best, but that’s really the only negative we found.

Marc Hotel definitely has a lot of things going for it: comfy beds, modern and clean rooms, and it is in a decent location if you want to be in amongst the lion's share of the late night Gili T restaurant and bar scene. On arrival at the hotel, we were told we would have to wait an hour for check in given that we were early, which was fine. We decided to check out the pool and go for a swim until we saw it. I would guess the pool hadn't been cleaned in weeks. It looks beautiful on pictures but up close it is very murky, and there is nowhere to sit around it, other than the restaurant chairs. My other main grumbles with this hotel were that our towels were not changed, even after requesting them to be at reception. In addition, the dry cleaning service offered by the hotel returned our clothes still damp, smelling worse than when we dropped them off. We were told we would not have to pay for the dry cleaning after complaining but we were left to travel with damp clothes in our suitcases.A few of the members of staff were very friendly, and overall the hotel has potential to be fantastic.

Great welcome and able to check in early. Staff very obliging and friendly. Pool for swimming but no relaxation area in hotel.you have to walk through restaurant to get to pool. Not well thought out. Room very nice but no where to dry swimwear etc. No outside space e.g. balcony. Still building and finishing rooms on other floors. Internet very intermittent

You can hear the chairs being moved along the floor very early hours of the morning. And the music playing very late at night. I stayed in room 137 and it was right next to the staircase which was often very noisy as well with the door slamming as people walked up and down. Made it really hard to get a good night sleep in this location. However I would stay again and request a different location in the hotel. Very nice staff! Making renovations to the pool area which will look very nice!!

New hotel, a bit noisy because it was not completely finished yet but only from 8-5. Very good. Perfect location, very clean. Friendly staff. Good food, breakfast was ok. Beautiful view from pool. Good wifi on the room. I would absolutely go back if I travel to Gili again!

Nice staff. Wonderful location. New and trendy hotel, but some areas were still under construction so a little bit dusty.
