First trip to Michigan City and will be the last because of the stay here. Had to take our 6 week old puppy, unknowing that they are not pet friendly because they own the restaurant next door that boasts about being pet friendly. There are a lot of people with dogs on the property. Angie saw us with our puppy as we were leaving and told us it wasn’t pet friendly but it was fine because she was a puppy and didn’t do damage. When we got back home she texted me and charged me extra because of feces not cleaned up she said. The puppy never had an accident in the inn. So she is charging me for feces outside, where there is duck, and goose poop everywhere, along with the dogs from the restaurant. This place made our Michigan City experience horrible and it really makes me upset that the only money we spent in the city was at their hotel and restaurant. We will never be back. Absolutely horrible.

The room was clean. Staff was helpful and communicative. Quiet area, at least during off season. The deck area was nice. Short walk to the lake front, about 15 minutes. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Could use a bigger tv for night time relaxation.

It was awesome! The room was spotless! I don't normally take baths at hotels but the huge tub was spic and span so I got to soak my tiredness away that night. Since a bigger room with a balcony was available they upgraded us to it, complimentary,and checked us in early! We were worried about the train and big but it was fascinating to watch and the noise didn't bother us at all ! Wonderful place to stay.

The accommodations were fantastic and the suite was quite clean. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchenette and bathroom were nicely stocked with necessary items. The only negative comment has to do with the trains that run directly behind the building. The sound of the running train, the whistle and the alarm happened several times in the evening and once in the morning. Thank goodness they don't run through the night. Overall, a cozy stay.

The property is within an easy walk of the gorgeous beach. An interesting historical area and a history museum are near. A fine brewpub is within an easy walk.

Owners were extremely helpful. Loved the location. Would love to visit again.

This property was clearly built for this purpose and not a retrofit. It was clean and well equipped. Not in the heart of things but very close (small town) and quiet. Will be back. Thanks

Very pleasant inside. Kitchen worked well, but amenities very basic. Bathroom was great, lovely tub. Mattresses were saggy. (Look into Purple mattresses for a good replacement.)

Very cool place, conveniently located close to the beach. The restraunt/bar on the property was nice too.

The room was great just wish the side next to the window had more room very tight squeeze

Super cute place to stay. Service was great. It has a wonderful indoor-outdoor restaurant right there in the same parking area. Great food. Its less than a 5 min drive to the beach which was wonderful. Close to the casino if that's your thing. Outlet mall down the road. I would definitely come back!!

Our room at Bridge Inn was clean and the perfect size for couples. It had a small kitchen with a coffee machine, toaster, and utensils. The location was a 10-minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and outlet mall. The best part was there was a bar and restaurant located there as well.

A nice quaint place. Comfortable bed. It’s nice to have a separate living room area. Coffee pot, coffee and kitchen utensils available along with small fridge.

Very friendly and helpful. Near everything we wanted. Clean. Was worried about the Industrial area. Not very pretty. But only a few blocks from the park. lake and arts district. We were there during the off season, so I'm sure it would be better in the summer. Would stay here again!

Rundown Lumber Yard area, that is being renovated to accommodations. Parking lot was a little ruff, outside didn’t look that impressive, but the accommodations inside were very nice.

We stayed in suite 23. Its an upper level room but the stairs were quite manageable. We received a text when our room was ready which was before check in time. The room was very cozy and clean. This suite has a jetted tub 😀. The property manager Pete was very nice. We were only in the area 1 night but I waa amazed at all the things to do in the area. We definitely want to go back for a longer visit in the summer. They have a website that you can contact separately that will save you money on your stay.

Our unit was very comfortably set up and was ready for our stay. The kitchen facilities had everything we would need: microwave, coffee maker, cutting board, eating utencils. We brought our own plates and napkins, but they were probably included also, but I didn't look for them. We would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was Very Nice! Decorated very nice, adequate space. Comfy and very warm housing. Easy checking in is always greatly appreciated! Bedding was clean, and beds were comfortable.

The Bridge Inn is charming and probably best suited for warmer weather visitors or weekends. (Our stay was mid-week in November.) Its location, while convenient, is in an industrial area. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Self check-in was easy. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

This property is closed to many interesting places. House keeping was nice. I have doubt with cleanliness because we found long hair (not our short hair)everywhere; bed sheet, towels, restroom.

Great little spot. Visited in the offseason, so not sure how loud the nearby outdoor bar gets, but in the autumn it was quiet (save for the periodic train, but I knew it going in and it didn't bother us). Perfect for a quick getaway and it would be great for kids who like trains and/or boats. Close to everything in Michigan City.
