Amazing stay. The hotel was spotless. Staff were so helpful, actually went out of their way to help. Beautiful rooms suitable for the whole family. So pleased we booked here.

It is a very modern, large (16 floors) hotel that combines Ibis and Novotel. The location is absolutely great. Because it is so tall you can see it once you make a few steps away from Poznan main railway/bus station. Takes about 10 minutes to walk there. It takes more less 15 minutes to get to Poznan Old Town. The rooms are clean and spacious. I have noticed that some reviewers were complaining about the noise from the trains but my room was quiet. Occasionally the reception desk was very busy.

This was my 142th night stay in a hotel during 2024, so I know what a good and bad hotel is. Arriving on 27 July, this was the worst customer service/experience of the year, so this puts this in the bottom 1pc of my hotel stays of 2024. A long queue checking in, and when I got to the front the receptionist just walked off. Now I can understand that something urgent or a call of nature happens, but you very briefly smile, apologise, and say please see the other receptionist as I have an urgent duty. When I finally got checked in by the other receptionist, and got to room, the adjoining room door was open and somebody else was staying there. I returned to reception, and was told to go back to room and wait for house keeping to come and they would lock room. I said that was absolutely unacceptable, and insisted on another room with no connecting door. I also did not get an apology. As is standard with Ibis, although it wasn't that warm, the air con even on full power didn't give a comfortable room temperatures for sleep. Given the poor service, I won't be staying at this hotel again, and am reluctant to stay at any Accor property given the lack of service and the comfort of the room (too hot).

Good first impression of reception area.
Rest of the hotel need serious upgrades. Latest upgrades it seems like have been "on budget" and room we had was really depressive. Bad lighting, carpets everywhere and bad smell in the room.
Positive is location in the city center with a shopping mall and park just across the road.
If you gonna stay in Poznan - find another hotel with better standard for the same price range.

I booked a room with double bad and received two single. Hotel couldn’t change it. I had window headings construction and it was very load since 5 AM. Window of poor quality wasn’t stoping noice of the trucks, construction, trams and cars. Ear plugs suggests prepared near bed suggests, hotel is aware of the problem, but they had offered me with this room anyway.
It was one of the worst business trips. Sleepless, exhausting, I never came home so tired. Even driving a car was a challenge to me

The only problem was that from our room on the 5th floor we could hear the lifts going up and down all night ... very annoying but it won't stop us from returning but i will ask for a room away from the lift area .

Very good stay overall, the hotel is close to Poznań Główny train station and downtown attractions, would recommend to anyone. Worth booking a room with a breakfast option, the spread is decent and sets you up for the day. Staff are most helpful and work hard to keep guests happy. It certainly contributed to my fantastic first visit in Poznań.

Stayed here at the Ibis Central Poznan for the third time recently and it is an excellent hotel to stop at if looking to be at a modern hotel close to the Old Town and shopping areas as well as easy walking distance to the train station and exhibition hall. Clean, efficient and friendly service - I will be back again soon. Personal service due to Coronavirus at Breakfast was a new one on me but it didn't mar my positive thoughts about the hotel.
