A great long weekend to see the Vikings game. Canopy Hotel was GREAT and exceeded our expectations. Convenient to everything you need and one block to U.S. Bank Stadium. Blue Line one block away for easy transport to and from airport.

The hotel is very attractive and stylish with a terrific bar/restaurant . My husband and I were in town for 2 nights. The room was very comfortable.

You do not get access to the pool. They call it a spa and then make you pay $40 to use it. They say nothing about that on their website and even on the Expedia it shows the sauna as part of the amenities. It’s not. The hotel smells terribly of mold. And half the staff very much does not want to be there. Walls are paper thin so it’s very loud.

Overall a nice place to stay. Good location that felt safe and was walkable to many places. Hotel staff were friendly. Architecture and design of hotel/room were very nice. The ac was controllable and I was able to keep the room very cold. The only downside for us was having an atrium side room - you don’t have a window to outside which is a bummer. The window looks out into the hallway, so you don’t get natural light during the day and you have to deal with bright interior/hallway lights at night time, making it hard to sleep. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again but would definitely get an exterior room.

Everything was beautiful and clean but the walls are paper thin so you can hear normal level conversations in the rooms next to yours clearly.

Nice place. Good restaurant. Weird check in. (I work in nyc’s largest hotel for 27 years). Wife and I driving across the country. I pulled up. Asked about parking in the lot attached. Told price. But had to back out, as price didn’t match what was told (perhaps a validation issue/discount). Parked in street at meters (saved $$) Anyway, not a huge deal (we aren’t that needy, and we generally don’t need help with bags (none offered). And we are urban drivers. My elderly parents would have had a bad time. But they probably would have inspired more assistance due to their age. Nice place. Maybe offer more clear help to drivers after a long day on the road. My 2 cents.

We loved the Canopy! We had a lofted two queen room which was amazing. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We chose to pay to park in the attached underground parking which I highly recommend. It was convenient and safe. Staff was friendly and accommodating. US Bank Stadium is across the street and the Guthrie is a couple blocks away. I would definitely stay here again.

My feed back would be that no one at the front desk took or maybe gas the ability/ authority to handle customer requests or complaints.
Twice, because I used Expedia to book the room was I told that the issues I had could not be resolved because I booked through a third party.
Unfortunately I see this more and more.
It’s really sad to witness this. I feel that as a customer I’m being asked to do everything from booking in etc. And that the concierge or front of the house staff can just really provide no service at all.
This is what fast tech seems to be concluding, that it’s easier to pound the numbers and forget about service.

Overall was a nice stay with a great room. However, overnight parking for $35 was excessive when the lot across the street has $5 overnight parking. The ‘light breakfast’ bag you can get was basically hospital food and not worth it at all. If I were to stay again I’d just choose to opt out of the breakfast and the parking and it would be great.

Super clean and quiet. Convenient to US Bank Stadium and restaurants downtown. The only negative was the very slow breakfast service in the lobby restaurant, Umbra. We had to get up a couple times from the table to flag down our server to order and to ask for our check at the end of our meal.

My father and I enjoyed our stay at the Canopy. The location was excellent and provided easy access to the relatives that were located outside of the downtown area. The hotel staff at the front desk and at the bar were very professional and helpful.

Absolutely loved our stay! The hotel itself was very clean and had beautiful accents. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. We brought our dog along and he loved all the attention! Lots of great restaurants within walking distance and convenient parking! We also visited the Starbucks and Trader Joe’s around the corner. We will definitely be back, hopefully for a Vikings game since the stadium is a block away!

I wanted to give this place 5 stars but it’s more like 2. For being a 4 star hotel it should be 2-3. There is no valet, the keycard(s) work maybe 1/2 time, AC was super noisy so no sleep. Do not waist you money until they fix all their short commings

As others have complained, the parking deck entrance is not marked as being for the hotel and the validation ticket provided at the hotel only worked for one night. Ended up having to pay $60 to get out of garage the second day and didn’t use it for the third night as a result. No valet parking or porters for luggage. But the hotel was very lovely and the room was well-appointed and clean. Will stay there again.

The staff here truly went above and beyond during our stay. The canopy has truly been the one good thing to happen during our 1000 mile across country move. The staff here was extremely accommodating and helpful during our difficult time moving. As well as the hotel itself being very comfortable and clean, in addition to being a very nice place in general. If we need another hotel stay in the area the canopy will certainly be our first choice.
