Farm house converted into guest-house which has a waterfall / creek in their backyard - fantastic view ! Living room was spacious. Fully equipted kitchen with stovetop, oven, freezer/ refrigerator and new pots and utensils. Do the grocery and wine shopping in town and go to this guest house, as we did, because store , restaurant are far away. Owners were super kind and their fluffy waffles were much better than bakery-bought. Their TV is installed with Netflix where you can put in your ID. Three of us stayed here two nights and were very happy there.

The best stay during our 10-day trip on Iceland. The suite is clean and large for a family of 4. Big living/dining room. The host made fresh waffles for breakfast. Wifi is very fast and view is amazing from the kitchen.

Just shop in Vik before you arrive since there are no decent nearby grocery stores or restaurants in the winter.

This place was our favorite of our whole stay in Iceland! The 'welcome waffles' left under the glass cake dome in our room were perfect for our breakfast before an early early departure! Peaceful and lovely stay. Be aware that the property is at the end of a 10-minute drive on gravel road with not many restaurants around so *bring groceries or food* from a grocery store on the way unless you're planning to drive back out again. Many restaurants close very early (8:30pm)

Shared Showers. Very far off the main road. No coffee or breakfast. All was self serve. A few waffles sitting out but not sure if they were left over. Check in / out very easy with code emailed in advance. Setting was beautiful but not close to any stores / conveniences.

Very nice accommodations located not too far off the Ring Road. Beautiful family farm, with a glacial river running through it. Waffles in the morning! Full kitchen, room nicely furnished and very comfortable four family of four adults. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

At first I was worried about the place when I booked it but the place is clean, super quite, provides the basic amenities you’d expect (coffee), water was fresh and has kitchen utensils, though we did not use them. Fresh waffles with Nutella and jam greeted us, which we had for breakfast. Overall great place and would recommend. There is a mini waterfall/stream in a 5 min walk. Only caution - if you’re not paying attention on highway 1, the 6km dirt road that takes you here can be easily missed. Also, there are no places to eat here so make sure that you’ve either packed to cook or have already eaten.

Amazing. Tons of space, incredible waffles, spa-like shower. Remote with tons of areas to explore - fields, grass, waterfall, small bridge. Really, one of our fave places we stayed while in Iceland for 16 days

The location is off the highway and is one with nature. The husband and wife owners are very nice. Breakfast is always available from 7:30 to 9:30 am. The guests can use the kitchen and supplies from 4 pm to 10 pm and are responsible for cleanup if they decide to use the kitchen. Breakfast selection has cheese, cold cuts, cereal, juice, coffee and tea and of course freshly made waffles

IT was clear but not perfect. On the room it was perfect but not really in the share kitchen and on a share bathroom

he guesthouse is nice, it has a full-size kitchen for guests to use and a large dining room. Free breakfast was great! The location is the best part: remote and beautiful. There's even a glacial river with a small waterfall within a short walk from the guesthouse.

Cozy clean 2 bedroom apartment near mountains and lava beds. The owner was very friendly and helped us with ideas for the next few days’ travel. The apartment had a fully stocked kitchen and dark blinds that helped with the 24 hr daylight.

Dalshofði guesthouse was in a beautiful location. Away from the crowds. Best waffles breakfast ever as well as many other extra lovely breakfast items. Hosts were very kind, gave us lots of information on sights to see. Would highly recommend this guesthouse.

We only stayed 1 night but wish we had stayed longer. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Having access to a communal kitchen was a huge bonus as we were able to make our own dinner. The provided breakfast was amazing (best waffles!!). On top of all this the location was stunning, tucked between the mountains and a waterfall. Perfect.

Super clean and big rooms! It was much better than the photos that they show. Great experience from beginning to the end! Must stay!

The road to get there is mysterious, you dont really know when or where you'll arrived. When we finally get there, we were pleased to see the cozy building and the welcoming owner of the place (who makes us waffles in the morning). I highly recommend this little piece of paradise, which is in our top 3 places to sleep in Iceland!

Charming property and nice, cleanly facilities! Also, breakfast was DELICIOUS!
