Well, the hotel was nice. Got to tell you very cozy. The bed was very comfortable. Check in Easy. Price was great for the amenities that were available. There is a snack machine, but drinks and also icemaker. They’re on the construction and some areas, but we didn’t notice Looks like the hotel is being renovated, but you don’t even notice and the renovations are definitely a plus I would recommend it, especially for the price finally, a simple motel with no issues very happy with my stay.

This property was extremely clean when you walk in the rooms you can smell that they were freshly cleaned staff was very helpful Debbie the manager was absolutely amazing I give her a 10 star review I would give her more if I could she was so helpful and amazing thank you for your service Debbie

The property and room was extremely clean. The woman Debbie who works there was so helpful and very polite she went above and beyond for my husband and I. I would love for her to get shown appreciation!!!

They are really not pet friendly when it comes down to pitbulls they had me put muzzles on my dogs and told me what kind of leash to use there is no housekeeper in case you need something the rooms are so nasty its not funny they have medical take holding pipes together

Sofa bed had no sheets, she knew and never brought any. No power cord for tv or cable box. Toilet seat half bolted down half no hardware. Bathroom drop ceiling open. Ac unit cover wouldn't stay on. Case was mounted to close to wall. But I digress.

The room was wonderful and modern.

Service nice room clean but bed was not great. Otherwise pretty decent place.

We really enjoyed our stay. I really appreciated the attentiveness of the staff and their hospitality. We had a friend whose birthday we wanted to celebrate, and the staff was helpful with allowing us to provide decor and they set it up for us. We will most definitely be back again given the opportunity.

If you can afford to find better accommodations I suggest you do so. The moment I pulled into the parking lot I instantly regretted my decision of booking here. This place is a motel not a hotel a dirty seedy one at that. It seemed to me that there was prostitution and/or drugs going on there. There was a lot of traffic and there was a lot of people going in and out of different rooms. It appears with the room decor, they are trying to do updates, But they are failing miserably. I had a dirty pillow and stained sheets. Everything looked so icky, I was proud to know that I always travel with Lysol spray and wipes! It was kind of late for me to rebook anywhere else and I was only staying for two nights so I spent my days out with family and just went to the room to sleep. I hate the fact that I had to sleep with the one little lock on the door and knowing the traffic that was going on outside but despite how crappy the room look I did have a comfortable restful night. I would never stay there again and I would never refer anyone else to do so.

DO NOT STAY. FOUND A HUGE TICK. BLOOD ON PILLOWS. ITS BEEN 4-5 (stayed on Thursday may 23rd) days and I still haven’t gotten to a resolve. Before I went to bed in hotel room, I spotted a blood spot on pillow.i took pictures and I threw it off bed. And went to sleep, it was about 1:30 am. I didn’t expect the world. Just thought they would handle this professionally. Never again. PLEASE DON’T STAY HERE!!!!

Room is redone and clean. Very accommodating, shower is absolutely wonderful. I would and have rebooked this hotel again. No complaints, i absolutely recommend.

The colonial style of architecture around the property was everywhere. It was very quaint. It had lots of parking for the number of rooms it had. The friendly staff went well out of their way to ensure that I had all I required for the duration of my stay. I would have liked for there to have been laundry facilities on-site. The bathrooms had been recently updated to a more modern look and that was very nice. The rain shower heads are wonderful and the water got up to temp in no time. The room itself was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the a/c worked very well. There is a bus stop (route 58) immediately adjacent to the property so that will alleviate the need for a car rental. I would stay there again.

Great for price! Clean and adorable. My only issue is the lock. They don’t have a deadbolt.

Very small room

I was hesitant to stay because of the reviews but the staff is amazing and the rooms are up to par. If you’re looking for a place to stay for the night Penn Lodge is an amazing choice!

Beds were clean and comfortable, shower and floors below average

The area was super dirty, couldn’t even sleep. The bed was broken in half. The lady was nowhere to be found for check out and check in. People were banging on the door at 3 AM. Room smell like old smoke Shower was dirty alarm system kept going off in the middle of the night I really felt like I was in the hood wi-Fi didn’t even work or connect to my computer brown spots on the sheets that they gave us the vending machine was broken. Ice machine was out of order. The key didn’t even work for the right door. people living in the area or I should say at the actual hotel. Almost got bit by a dog. There’s like dirty feces stains on the toilet. There was a leftover booger on the on the pillow. It was a terrible stay, and I was with my girlfriend, celebrating your anniversary. I might not have a girlfriend after this trip.

Poor work on the renovation, a little more effort would have gone a long way!!

Normally, I don’t write anything bad about the paces I stayed, but this one deserves special attention. The mattresses were so hard that I woke up in pain few times during my one night stay. If you want to have a rest on your trip, that’s not the place I would recommend to stay.

The room was lovely- ish. They are in the middle of construction. The room need some help in terms of proper painting and drywall in bathroom. The outside property is a little unkempt. The place has tremendous potential, but some kinks must be worked out. I would still stay there again. I want to see the owners progress of transformation:)

Great place to stay at within budget. Staff is great and helpful with all accommodations. Room was very clean and quite. I recommend this place to all my friends and family
