We’ve stayed at this property a couple times. It feels like it lacks a little bit of warm energy. It’s definitely got all the amenities and for that we appreciate it.

Very comfortable hotel, spacious and well appointed rooms and lobby. Great location, many high end shops close by. Fairly convenient to San Jose and the airport. Great display of vintage sports cars!

Paid thru Expedia. They asked for a credit card for incidentals. Gave them my Discover. Then later i went to the bar, tried to charge to the room, it was declined, but i used that same Discover to pay the bar bill. I asked the desk and they said, the card i gave for incidentals was only for room service. I checked out, they gave no receipt because i prepaid with Expedia. Then later that day, they charged $369 to that same Discover even thou i had already prepaid with Expedia. I drove back to the hotel and the man apoligized and blamed it on a colleague. Claimed he credited my card. Meanwhile that amount hold against my credit for 10 days

Absolutely wonderful in all aspects. Central to anything in San Jose - Escazu, Santa Ana and downtown. Staff was 5 star. Highly recommended for sure.

We bookd for 3 nights and unfortunately I had a severe medical condition with my heart and checked out after one night. It turns out left for Miami for heart surgery that same day. Hotels.com contacted the hotel for assistance and where rejected. I wrote to the hotel and they said that it was hotel.com that rejected the request which was not true . Irene Peters was not only not helpful, she was not sympathetic, blamed others such as hotels.com. Do not stay here. BTW the dinner that night was terrible

Its a nice place, very modern and great breakfast, just be careful some one else charge 25 us on my room for a hamburger and a beer when i made check out and hotel accept not to charge me

Very good

The property is very nice and in very good condition, its located on the most expensive real estate in Costa Rica, so you expect the best. Bad check in, they only had one of my two rooms reserved and prepaid. Next morning, I went to work and my 80 year old mom went for breakfast, and they made her pay, nobody told us upon check in that breakfast wasn't included, on top of that at check in I explicitly asked/requested open tab and gave my CC that was charged $300 so my mother could ask anything she wants. At noon my mother card stop working, went to ask for help and they said its because she was checking out that day, really? I reserved and paid for two nights, you guys have to check on your management process. Not a very pleasant stay to say the least. On top of that if you are driving your own car, in and out is tight and not convinient.

Excellent services and location.

Well located but overpriced for a basic hotel. The common areas with carpet stink and the bathroom was filthy. The breakfast was below standards

at the time of check in they told me that some rooms were ruined and that they had to move me to a room in the hotel across the street, renesane inn. A very inferior hotel to the one I had reserved. After having us 30 minutes waiting and thanks that we got angry, "miraculously" a room was available. The whole problem is because I made the reservation through Expedia and not directly with them, there's no right to have to go through these bad experiences, if it's not convenient for them that customers book online, why don't they cancel the service?

Great attention to detail by all staff. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasant.

Excellent location

Great location and a nice hotel. We stay as it is near the highway that we take to the beach and it has a rental car service. However we did ask if there is a rental car on site and were told no, when, in fact there was. And, some issues with the AC.
