Easy parking and it was easy to self serve. There was free lattes coffee and an area where you could print stuff for free. You can barbecue if you choose. Very clean and people that we met were nice.

As a newer company, Kasa did a nice job of securing units on the same floor that provide a nice view of the city from the balcony. It's a residential building in the south loop. The front desk/security personnel was extremely helpful for navigating the nuances of the building. Pet areas are what you would expect for a residential city dwelling and the neighbors we came in contact with were quite friendly, which is not something to expect in a big city.

While there was always a person at their front desk, all communication related to their services (including housekeeping) had to be done online. At times that can feel convenient, but a few other times it felt somewhat frustrating. Also the “smart tv” in my room was all apps which limited my ability to watch much live sports. For example, there was a three game Cubs/Phillies series during the week I was visiting Chicago, and I went to the first one (my first time ever visiting Wrigley Field), but I was never able to access the other two on any of the available apps. And signing in and later signing out of all those apps was somewhat tedious, instead of just simply pulling up a regular broadcast or cable station to just watch a game or a show or a movie. But despite those two arguably minor flaws (especially if those types of things won’t bother you), the apartment style rooms the Kasa offers make their buildings a very nice place to stay for a week-long visit in Chicago. However, from my personal experience I think I slightly prefer their Magnificent Mile location over this South Loop one.

My family and I recently stayed at Kasa South Loop while I attended a convention in Chicago, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. The condo offered gorgeous views that added a touch of magic to our stay, especially in the mornings and evenings. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment. We had everything we needed, from the modern, fully stocked kitchen and fresh, clean linens to extra towels and laundry detergent for the in-unit washer and dryer. The cozy living space was thoughtfully designed to meet guests' needs.
The amenities available were top-notch, enhancing the overall convenience and enjoyment of our stay.
Additionally, the staff were helpful and accessible if we needed them. Check-in and check-out were also a breeze.
I would definitely recommend staying at Kasa South Loop. It's an ideal choice for anyone visiting Chicago, whether for business or leisure.

Pros: Convenient location, close to downtown, pet friendly, decent view, reasonable cost compared to other venues
Cons: Very noisy, with people coming and going at late hours. Constantly woken up by noise in the hallways during the night. Drunk people on the floor around 2:30 am, causing disturbance. Lack of onsite support; slow response to this security issue. Unfriendly non-Kasa contractor at the front desk, causing inconvenience during stay.
Overall:
While the location and price were great, the noise and lack of onsite support were significant drawbacks. The unfriendly front desk experience added to the inconvenience. This property might be a good choice for budget-conscious travelers who don't mind some noise, but those seeking a quieter stay might want to look elsewhere.

Great property, great apartment, very quite. Apartment was clean and well stocked. Issue was balcony is completely ignored, weather was beautiful and I would have liked to sit out there and enjoy but it was covered in spider webs and spiders. No TV in the bedroom so for me that was a bummer because I watch TV when I go to bed. Overall it was great and very comfortable, would stay again.

The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore the city. The room was clean and cozy. The air conditioning was a little noisy though. I would recommend staying there.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the city. Location was perfect for sightseeing in the south loop and buses to museums and elsewhere were a short walk from the building. We parked our car and never used it. Neighborhood felt safe and there was a Target just down the street for supplies. It was nice to have an apartment and kitchen to make relaxing after a day out more comfortable. For what we got it was a great bargain, comparable to the cost of nice hotels but way more spacious.The only minor issue was that the blinds were not good at blocking the morning sun. It would be nice if the bedrooms could have better blinds. Virtual check in and check out was easy.

The good news is the beds were comfortable. The bad news is this was a very bare bones apartment that looks better in the photos than in person. The closet doors were broken and either hanging off the hinges or propped up against a wall in the bedroom. Both were safety hazards with sharp metal and screws on the doors, which could have fallen over on us at any time. To rent a unit with broken doors like this is unacceptable in my opinion. Also, normal attention to detail was not made for instance not enough towel bars for multiple people using multiple towels. Not enough bedside tables so had to plug in phone on the floor. The strings on all the blinds were severely tangled so you couldn't raise and lower the blinds easily (we spent a lot of time un tangling these cords). In one bedroom the bath door swung into the bedroom but the bed blocked the door so this was inconvenient and prevented the bathroom from airing out from the lack of a fan in the bathroom. Not to mention low water pressure in the shower. Finally, you cannot enter through the front door of the building, you have to enter through a back door past a large stinky dumpster to enter the building which is not convenient at all unless you're driving.

Highly recommend! Amazing view of the city and the lake, clean and quiet yet close to everything. Thoughtfully furnished with nice surprises like power strips, white noise machine in bedroom, electric kettle etc. It was ideal and we’d stay there again.

Our stay was great. Me and a coworker were in town for the AHR trade show and I picked Kasa based off the pictures of they Gym. The gym was great, decent equipment and relatively empty which was great. The room itself was outstanding. large and clean with a killer view. Beds were comfortable and hot water was borderline endless. When the show returns to Chicago I will absolutely stay here again.

Having Target just a stone's throw away for breakfast essentials was incredibly convenient. Seamless LYFT access for downtown travel and the option to walk to nearby restaurants added to the overall charm. Highly recommend this place for a delightful stay! We felt safe coming and going.
