We needed to cancel due to a family member fainting due to heat stroke in Belize City. We canceled 3 days before. Unfortunately, they were not accommodating at all and charged us anyway. Hoping Expedia will rectify the situation.

The place is beautiful and the staff took care of every need before being asked. Always had clean towels, room was cleaned every day. We had booked 2 rooms and were upgraded to a two bedroom family suite. 5 minute walk to the ferry and 5 minute walk to the Split. Very convenient location. We will be returning to this hotel on our next visit to Caye Caulker.

Great, comfortable room so close to everything. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Pro-tip: bring your own shampoo/conditioner. They only provide tiny bottles and if you have long hair snorkeling and swimming in salt water - you're gonna need a lot of shampoo/conditioner. But otherwise, great experience.

Barefoot Caye is located on the main strip of Caye Caulker. The staff is very professional and go above and beyond for all guest. The pool is a nice touch and the rooftop is amazing to watch the sunsets. I will most definitely return to Barefoot. The people are very friendly and the island is safe.

Bradley is an awesome cab driver and tour guide request him specifically when you're there! great third floor room with great views. easy check in and nice little bar on the patio!

Barefoot is the perfect place to stay in Caye Caulker!! Whether you are solo, couples or with family, Barefoot is centrally located to all the action, yes The Split!!, on this small beautiful island. The rooftop has hammocks for chill time and the pool is easily reached on the 1st level. It appears that 90% of the rooms appear to overlook the pool. The Barefoot Caribe restaurant across the street has super good food and a boho vibe located in the sand/boat front. The hotel offers happy hour drinks, beach towels and friendly service. There's no elevator, but the staff will assist w your luggage. Truly a vibe and I felt super safe! I'll be back!!

I really enjoyed stay at this hotel. It was very close to everything and I felt safe as a solo traveler. The staff was very nice and helpful, especially Winston I really liked him. One thing I did have a issue with was the mattress. It needs to be replaced. My back was killing me. Overall, i would definitely stay here again.

This property was AMAZING… The hotel location is perfect. Everywhere you would like to visit is walkable but the place offered bikes just in case walking was not for you which was Awesome. The staff were nice and accommodating. Everything is convenient. I ENJOYED IT WILL VISIT AGAIN THANK YOU

Room is on the smaller side but there are bigger room options and who really spends that much time on a gorgeous island . We had issues with our toilet after hours and they came immediately to fix it . Would recommend !

We had a great week staying at this hotel. It's close to the split so there is a lot of action and can be noisy at night, but anywhere on front street is going to be similar.

Barefoot Caye Caulker was a great hotel in a wonderful location. An easy five minute walk from the ferry and five minutes, if that, to The Split. Close to restaurants, groceries, stores, and the various sites on the island. It’s an upbeat hotel with music playing during the day, a nice variety of places to relax- the rooftop hammocks and sofas can’t be beat for the views and the breeze!

Stayed March 2024, From check in to check out everything was seamless, and the staff were all so nice. If you arrive early or check out earlier than transportation they allow you to leave your luggage in the office. We were located on the top floor and although they have no elevator they have an employee that will take your luggage to your room. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the air worked (it was hooot). Rooftop had about 3 hammocks and a few chairs that was nice to just chill in after a long day of being in the water. The pool was sparkling clean and looks just like the pictures. We utilized the free bikes as well (do that, experience the island). Will definitely be staying again as its so centrally located.
10/10 recommend!

We had a fantastic stay. Nothing fancy but everything you need and in a great location with the supermarket next door. The front rooms on the lower level can be loud if people are hanging out at the bar late. Make sure you request a room on the back side or higher floors if you are someone who goes to bed early.
