We spent three fabulous nights at Ilio Maris and pool and bar area is the perfect location to relax. Shower in the bathroom is a bit small and water goes everywhere.

Wonderful time staying at Ilio Maris for 3 nights. Right from arranging a pick up from the hotel to swift check-in, everything was spot on.! The staff is remarkable and helps you to book cars, ATVs or generally suggest you places to be. The swimming pool is gorgeous and we loved it. Quick tip- Room Cleo a 3 people family room has it's view blocked. The view from the other 1st floor rooms would be unparalleled.! A safe and great location, close to the chora and very conveniently located to move around

Poor Wi-Fi speed, music around the pool is a bit loud, breakfast was good, located on a hill outside of the city but walking distance, rooms are small, staff are nice, the number of good rooms with a nice view is limited at this property, appreciated the complimentary transportation from the airport/port.

Beautiful boutique style hotel, located just 5 minutes walk to the town centre. Great size room, comfy bed and good size bathroom. Views are spectacular from your balcony and lovely pool area. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend 👌

Very close (walkable)to city center, windmills and little Venice. Beautiful views of windmills from our balcony. Complementary ride from and to the port was great. Breakfast was not a 4* hotel :(

Single room was tiny, ok for one night

I’d read questionable reviews about the surrounding Mykonos hotels (you overpay for average). That said- this hotel was great for the price. Clean, comfortable bed/room, extremely accessible to everything you want to explore/do in old town- but also just up the hill from the nightlife, so it’s a bit more peaceful in the wee hours (they have a great pool scene during day/eve). Views outstanding and staff were very helpful during my quick stay.

This property was outstanding. Love being so close to downtown ( little Venice, ) and all the shopping. The pool is spectacular. The service is amazing. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It’s also great to have transportation on them. I can’t say enough about this property. You can’t go wrong.

The hotel offer a complimentary pick up service from the port and then back to the airport which was great. The hotel is only 100 metres away from the start of the main town, however, that short walk felt really dangerous as there are no proper sidewalks and the traffic is really busy. It was a struggle crossing the road at the bottom with vehicles, buses, scooters and quad bikes all racing past. Obviously this is not the fault of the hotel. The journey up the short hill back to the hotel of a night was a killer even though it only took 2 minutes. Wear comfortable shoes/pumps. The communal areas were all spotless. The swimming pool area was amazing. We always got a sunbed. The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food as well as a nice selection of pastries. The room was just OK. The bath was old fashioned with a fixed shower screen so it felt claustrophobic. Our safe was broke and we were told it would get fixed the next day. This meant we had to keep our passports and cash with us. The safe was never fixed during our stay. My only complaint was the level of music by the pool. It was absolutely far too loud. In fact, I wondered if the noise put people off relaxing by the pool and that’s why there were always beds free. You literally couldn’t hear yourself speak. Mykonos is really expensive. Cocktails start at 18 euros.

Very nice place to stay close to town

Very nice property with a gorgeous pool area overlooking the water, just a few minutes' walk from the centre of town. Room was modern and well kept, but mine faced onto the parking lot so there was some road noise at night. Staff was very welcoming and helpful and I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay.

The Staff was lovely, warm and helpful. Pool area and breakfast are especially wonderful. The room was just okay but overall the hotel is perfect for a short stay close to town (1 minute walk from the old town). Loved it and would visit the hotel again.

As a solo traveler, I felt extremely safe. Location was everything. I was 3 minutes walking away from a wine store, 4 mins walking from restaurants and about 8 minutes from the tourist area of the coast. So many ships and restaurants. The hotel breakfast was phenomenal and the staff was very very accommodating, understanding and communicative.

We had one night in Mykonos and found this hotel online. Recommendations were good so we booked. It is a close to the walking area as you can get without being in the walking area. Walking in the area is dodgy but we managed even with my wife's mobility issues. Met us with a sign at the ferry and took us to the airport. Hotel pool is a great place to spend time. We had to be out of the room by 11 but we could lounge at the pool and they have baggage storage and a great shower and changing area to get ready for a flight. Music at the pool was good (my wife got tired of it) but all good and trendy. Food by the pool was excellent and exceptional view
