Check in was great. The hotel has an awesome little lobby shop with all sorts of goodies for convenient purchase. The restaurant was great for breakfast and our room was a great size and the beds were comfy. My only complaint is the additional $60 for valet parking. Look into parking elsewhere if you stay here.

Great location, walking distance to breakfast and lunch, and staff was very friendly. And they have a small Keurig in the room with complimentary coffee which was a plus! Rooms are a little small but very well kept.

We arrived early,and exhausted after travelling 26 hours with 21 in the air. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They had a room ready and let us have early access. The room was perfect, with a large bathroom, a comfortable bed, and very well appointed. The location was midway between the Space Needle and Pike Place Market. The next time we venture to Seattle we'll be staying at The Sound.

We were able to check in early, which was great. Since we just got off from cruise. Check in process was quick. Our room was spacious and comfy. Great neighborhood within walking distance to Pike place and space needle. We will definitely stay here again.

Forrest, Jordan, Kevin, and the rest of the staff were amazing!! So helpful and friendly. Check in was super easy. The rooms were so nice and clean. Loved the bar/bistro downstairs. The snack and beverage selection is the best that I have ever seen at a hotel. The area isn't the best (homeless people very strung out :( very sad), but I never felt unsafe. Will absolutely stay here again in the future. :)

There was a slight sour smell when we entered our room. They immediately came and investigated and used air freshener. They thought it could have been from the rug being shampooed recently and not drying fully. There weren’t any other available rooms and it was tolerable.

Other then not knowing how to turn down the thermostat the first night and never being able to connect to the WiFi after many many tries. It was a great stay. Super comfy bed and pillows. Shower very nice! Nice spacious room and very clean.

Overall very nice. We were on the 2nd floor facing the street and it was noisy at times. Also the tv screen would pixilate so the pic wasn't always clear. Staff was very helpful and the room and bath especially the shower was great.

Maid service every other day was not explained at check in. However, it still took 4 days and a few requests to get clean towels to the room. Shower had hair from previous guest in it. Just no attention to detail. Place is quiet and convenient which is the best praise I can give it

Great hotel in a convenient location for walking around to see the Seattle sites. The lady who checked us in when we arrived at 2am was fantastic and the valet staff was so helpful. Room was huge and very clean.

The staff was not friendly. We paid an extra $80 in our reservation for breakfast that was nothing special. The waitress was awful, tipped herself $11 more than we had signed for. The nicest person was the valet guy and it was his first day. We decided to walk around the area, it was filthy, homeless people smoking weed and asking for money right outside. Would recommend not staying here.

This is a beautiful hotel, and we especially enjoyed the terrace. Unfortunately, our room was located on the 2nd floor just above an alley, and we heard garbage trucks and other noisy vehicles beginning in the wee hours through 10 am. We were also frustrated because we asked the front desk staff if we could get new towels and have our in-room coffee supplies refilled, and those requests were not honored.

Wonderful stay! The front desk service was excellent! Room was very clean, modern and beds very comfortable. A/C was a bit odd in that it didn’t seem to circle through the room completely, but not a deal breaker by any means. Would definitely come back!

This is a great newer hotel in Seattle. The room was nice, new and roomy. Bathroom was in great condition and the entire experience was very positive. The one downside is the surrounding area is a little sketchy but it’s a short walk to all to Seattle’s attractions.
