Barry gives you a warm welcome to his traditional property with a well stocked kitchen and large bathroom. It's about a ten minute walk from this quiet back street to St Alban's Cathedral and the city centre. Very comfortable. Very good wifi and TV in your room. Highly recommended.

Not posh,! Fully functional kitchen well-stocked ( bread, milk, drinks, fruit, cereal and more!) beds clean and comfortable, near town centre. Carpark opposite . Reasonably priced ! what more do you need?!

Barry was a wonderful host, he provided a cot for our baby and there is a full kitchen at your disposal. Close to everything, comfortable and clean! Perfect.

Stayed just for one night, which was fine. The owner was very welcoming and there is a pay and display car park just across the road. Convenient for the city centre.

Barry very graciously accepted some mail I had asked to be delivered to his place. That was a great help, since this was my first dayin the UK. Also, he had no problem with my Bank of Ulster notes. As a tourist, it amazes me rhat so many establishments won't accept them (and since i don't have a bank account in the UK, I cant exchange them in a bank or the Post Office, either. Ridiculous!) The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast supplies acceeded my expectations!

Friendly welcome, clean and tidy, great location excellent value for money

The landlord is kind and polite, he also allow us to store our suitcase. However, the room is not that big, so do not bring a big suitcase. The small kitchen is fit for a very short stay and I can reheat some food for my dinner.

Good value, good central location, comfortable, but the bread in the kitchen was out of date, and the breakfast cereal was dried-up / stuck together.

Only stayed the night but a bit ramshakle , shower wasn’t cleaned , toilet seat soiled, needed a good spruce before we got there , certainly not worth £65 a night !

Everything was okay, the owner was very friendly and helpful.

Although a 5 min walk from the city center, it's a very quiet, somewhat tucked away little place. The owner/operator Barry was very nice and welcoming, and super easy going. We had no cash to pay him to start (he doesn't take cards), but allowed us to stay the night anyway, told us to pay when we could and we paid him the next morning after getting to an ATM, no problems at all. Will definitely be back!

It was okay , I would stay there again . Had use of a kitchen which I did not use , so not really a b&b , but was okay

This location was fantastic. Barry was always there to help with any problems and just a great host! He was around enough that we felt taken care of but without being overbearing. It was easy to tell that he really cared about our time in St. Albans.

Clean and comfortable property in a very convenient location. Friendly, communicative owners. Good choice of breakfast items in the kitchen. All the facilities I needed. Would recommend.
