Our room had a cigarette smell. This hotel has some issues to be considered befor you book: 1. Ask for real non-smoking room 2. You need your ear plug at night since this hotel stays in the busiest street, it could be very extremely noisy 3. The restroom is lacking privacy Overall - we had a great stay, people who is working there made us feel at home. It was really nice and unforgettable Thanks!

They were helpfull

We choose seperate 2 bed but they said they do not have seperate beds. The only window was higher than 2mt high we could not see outside. There were water and it was not written that it has a price, we thought it was for free, they asked us to pay it. We do not recommend.

The hotel is right in the heart of the main pedestrian area, tons of restaurants and shops and bars. Minutes from the fortress overlooking the river. Superb location, no doubt about it.

Located in the most central part of the city, the small hotel offers a good accomodation, with a wonderful staff, always ready to help you and a great breakfast served in the restaurant just outside the hotel, with a variety of combined dishes to be chosen from the menu. Good price

The location is perfect! In the middle of a walking, very nice, shopping district in old town. Exceeded my expectations and a great value too!

The team is so polite, cheerful and helpful, the reseptionists and the driver. Only bad thing is hotel is not so clean. Very central.

From the hotel entrance to the exit, I would like to express my gratitude for the attention shown by the reception, restaurant, and transfer service staff. The hotel's location is especially beautiful, the rooms are clean, the staff service quality is high, and the restaurant operation is very successful. Overall stay was fine. Reception v good and breakfast was great. Room was not particularly clean and was only ‘made up’ rather than cleaned during the day. Was in one of the top floor rooms and it leaked when we had a period of heavy rain. Hope that is rectified. Bed not the most comfortable, pillows in particular I struggled with. Could be personal preference though.

Fantastic location and friendly front desk staff... we loved our stay here. Easy to walk to the fortress and to restaurants/bars/coffee shops.

The location and hotel were perfect. Check in and out went easy and quickly. It is located in the middle of all the happening.

Desk staff was extremely helpful. Good room with street view. Foldout couch and bedding were taking up half the room and housekeeping never came to close it. Good location and breakfast at cafe next door.

The location of the hotel couldn't have been better for us. It is on the main tourist street (pedestrianised) through the city and 100m from the park and right next to a shopping centre with large supermarket. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would really recommend asking the hotel for a transfer if you are coming from the airport. We didn't know about this until the end of our stay and got a taxi to the hotel. As it's on a pedestrian street, the taxi has to drop you off right down the other end about 8 mins away. This isn't the best start to a trip as the street is cobbled and pulling a case along it that far is tiring! The hotel transfer stops right by the hotel though! You will probably see on other reviews, the hotel has no lifts. There are only three floors though, including the reception floor. The room was comfortable and the hotel was decorated nicely. I'm really glad we stayed here!

We arrived at the hotel with my wife on Wednesday, and the room was cleaned for the first time on Saturday. I think I don’t need to say more, other than I ended up with an asthma crisis on Friday night. I asked for a refund for the total lack of cleaning service, which the hotel refused. Their answer was that the cleaning staff was new and inexperienced, that’s why they skipped our room. So they recognised their mistake but didn’t want to pay for it, as nothing happened. But of course I had to pay in full for the “services” they provided.

Amazing stay, very nice staff’

The location couldn't be any better, the room was very clean and comfy bed. Staff was pretty nice, especially the lady with glasses working on reception.

Really nice and welcoming front desk including amazing over night security gentleman. Very helpful 24/7 and always polite. However, the property needs deep cleaning. When I arrived i had to clean the shelves and also the bathroom isn't im perfect condition. Overall i had a great stay except the housekeeping. We stayed for 12 nights. Also, the location is amazing.

The location of the Maison Royale is perfect—it's extremely close to Kalemegdan and so many amazing restaurants and cafes. The rooms are spacious and very nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The property does not have an elevator though, so guests should be aware of that.
