Breakfast was good and the sauna was great at the end of a day’s skiing

Great little hotel in an excellent location for the town, but also literally 2 min walk from the Pleney and Super Morzine lifts. The host was really nice, very accommodating. Remember it’s a small independent and not a Holiday Inn, so don’t expect the polish that comes with that. For a great affordable, clean convenient place in Morzine, this was perfect.

The Igloo is in the perfect location just a few minutes from either of Morzine's main lifts which also means it's ideal for bars, ski hire and restaurants. The (cold) breakfast is what you'd expect to find at a ski hotel and the room was fine, with good clean bathroom facilities. The ski room is good with a heated boot rack and there is a steam room/sauna which we didn't use. It is on the main road which our room overlooked so was quite noisy and it lacks a bar so is pretty much a B&B. We would stay there again but probably not at this time of year as the current rates are expensive for the overall package.

Excellently located near the two main Morzine lifts, the restaurants and bars, shops and ski hire. Very helpful and friendly staff. Perhaps could do with a slightly larger breakfast buffet.

Great stay, room was very warm with no heating on. WiFi didn’t seem to work with iMessage but not the end of the world. Friendly staff but not always available. Good buffet breakfast.

No complaints about the hotel or staff. The only issue was that the ground floor apartment we had (room 2) didnt have a proper curtain so if you have the light on at night people can see in.

We stayed in hotel igloo for a short ski break in January. Before arriving, the staff were really helpful and altered the booking to suit a changed travel plan and answered all our questions about late checkin promptly and helpfully. We arrived late, but check in was really easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable and were just what we needed, the beds were great. Breakfast was a mix of breads, croissants, serials, hams, cheeses, eggs and pastries. Again, this was very good and set us up for the day. Another useful thing is that the ski/boot room is by the back door so getting ready to go out was really easy too. Location wise, the hotel is almost half way between the Plenny and super morzine lifts (300 to 400m) so it was dead easy to walk there. It’s also only a short walk into town for food and drink so that was good too. We only had a couple of nights there so didn’t have time to explore the restaurants and bars but the brewery bar over the road was excellent as were the two closest restaurants. Although our room was on the ground floor and facing the road, noise wasn’t a big issue with the shutters closed. Overall, this was a great break and I’d definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay. Room was so clean and spacious with everything we needed. Lovely and warm when it was so cold and snowy outside. Great breakfast every morning, and it was nice to have a kitchen so we didnt have to eat out every night. Only 5 minute walk from the cable car and a great ski room with boot dryer in the basement of the hotel.

Well located, cosy and clean hotel with great service and facilities. Especially Spa made a difference; its soooo relaxing to take a sauna or turkish steam room after long day on bike. Also breakfast was good.

The general facilities and breakfast is on the basic side but you have everything you need. Room was clean although very hot at all times. The sauna and steam room was good but a hot tub would be a nice addition. Staff were happy to help with most requests. The best feature by far was the location - at the end of the main high street and a 5 min walk from both of the two main ski lifts, very convenient.

5 nights skiing, relatively late booking. Ideal location, friendly and helpful staff. Everything needed, only issue which is likely shared everywhere was heat in the rooms, which meant leaving the external balcony doors open to be able to sleep. This did not cause a problem as little noise and temperature was about right.
