It was fine. Not fancy but very close to everything and safe.

Perfect for what I needed: private parking, good a/c, towels, bed and it had a safe in the room. Olga at the front desk was very professional and accommodating. I spent one night because I needed a place to sleep and shower for a couple of hours.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. It was a quiet street in a very local side of the city and very close to the beach. Some small supermarkets in the area or same street, an excursion agency in the same street on the way to the beach, many restaurants in the area. Perfect for people that want to enjoy holidays on their own way without "all inclusive" option.

I do not recommend it, the neighborhood seems to me to be an unsafe place and the hotel lacks security. Don't travel alone.

Great experience. Let me start by saying that check in is available 24/7 and both the day manager and the night manager were extremely helpful and went above and beyond. Although the building is not new it’s well appointed, and has a nice feel. Conveniently located a couple blocks from the beach and can be walked in a few minutes, there are places to eat nearby as well as stores to shop within a few minutes walk. Several Dominican food restaurants nearby also got those courageous enough to try out the local food, which I highly recommend. The free breakfast option is worth the price and their coffee is good.

Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast and what’s even better was the location on how close it was to the beach. Looked at all the hotels I could’ve chosen and this was by far the best in the area. Breakfast was always served hot, delicious and fast with a tasty bowl of fresh fruits(if you’re a coffee drinker they have delicious coffee) I will seriously miss Punta Cana and both AM Alex and the PM Alex. If I decide to come back to Punta Cana again I for sure know where I will be staying.

Great staff from when you walk in the door to your departure time. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Would stay here again only wish they had a pool.

The location was excellent; just a couple of hundred yards away from the busy square with loud music and bars but set in a quiet residential area and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Good house-keeping with rooms being cleaned every other day and towels and bed sheets changed too. However, if you are looking for genuine self-catering, this is not the place for you. We had to ask for equipment and were given one single hot ring/ hob and a microwave; there were very few if any essential kitchen utensils so we ate out a lot more than we had planned. I would stay again for a couple of nights as it is good value for money but not longer-term if this was to be your main holiday accommodation.

Our stay was ok...room needs improvement. No option for memu choices, food allergies...politely asked, not just served guest what you feel like..

Stayed twice over the last week due to renovations at my house. Extremely friendly staff.. quick check in, very clean cute rooms and excellent location

The rooms are basic but clean, with air-conditioning, free parking, good wifi, nice breakfast and super nice and helpful staff. We were out most of the day so the room was just a place to rest at night and for that it was perfect. Happy to stay there again on a next visit.

Very clean property. 24/7 front desk. Helpful staff, I only stated one night since I had a 18hr layover before heading to Belgium. Hotel felt safe but I also did not leave my room after I arrived.

Art Villa is in a great location. The place is very comfy and safe. The location is near the street where traffic is non stop all day and night. However, the hospitality is wonderful. The night gentleman is very nice as well the morning workers. Breakfast is simple but for me very elegant and the presentation is lovely. The AC,WiFi, Water was perfect. One evening the hotel lost water pressure and they responded immediately to the concerns but actually it was no fault of the hotels and rather a city situation. The rooms are cozy and it was a great fit for me and my fiancé who actually leaves in DR and travels from his city to work in Punta Cana. I think what can make this hotel stand out even more would be to add BLACK OUT CURTAINS, RESORT STYLE TOWELS AND HOTEL BEDDING SUCH AS DOWN COMFORT LIGHT AND BETTER PILLOWS. My favorite breakfast was the strawberry yogurt, tuna sandwich (delicious), coffee is amazing! Breakfast comes with your stay. I stayed 5 nights from July 26-July 31, 2022 and look forward to staying aging next month.
