The bedroom was clean and the bed comfortable. This is not a glamorous hotel but it suited us for a place to lay our head for the night.

Basic room but clean. Bit noisy with other guests walking down the corridor. Friendly staff.

I booked the ensuite room and it was worth it. Clean shower and the cold water was actually cool and refreshing on a really hot day. AC worked fine, bed & pillows comfy.

Not a bad room for the low price but unfortunately smelt of smoke, shared bathroom facilities were good.

Was in a bit of a rush when i booked it. Have learned an important lesson. Room so small that person who sleeps on left side of bed needs to crawl over bed and partner, to get out. Door has massive gaps resulting in hearing every person who walks by. Lock? on door strengthened by paper stuffed against lock.window does not work. Previoys guest obviously a chain smoker. Toom stunk. Walls are very thin (it is a really old pub where im sure the less fortunate would rent a room) so you can hear very clearly conversations etc next door and in nearby toilet. Access and egress to the rooms is a very dodgy set of stairs. Bed wass ok but sleep almost impossible due to noise. Shared bathroom facilities average. My wife would not shower in them. If we hadn't driven 8 hours and time of evening, i would have definately found anothef place and forfeited my cash. Paid about $120 (yes know what you're thinking) & it was lycky to be worth $50. Absolutely the worst accommodation we have stayed in, in 40 years of travelling. We left next morning at 5am, couldn't wait to get out. I would suggest to all (unless you are absolutely broke) do not stay there.

Appreciate it’s a long weekend so prices are high everywhere, but if you’re going to charge $169 for a verrrry basic single room, there should be remote controls provided for the tv and Aircon. Rooms vacuumed, but no one’s dusted the window in a while. Basic, clean accommodation. Hotel grade bedding. Security guard was friendly.

Lovely old pub with friendly locals. Room was basic but clean. We were too tired to keep driving & the Argyle Hotel was the perfect solution for a good feed & a good rest. Nice comfy bed.

Hi team I stayed in rm 2 the only problem was the shower had a slow leak, I found it better when the hose hung to the floor.

Stayed here for one night for a bicycle event in the area. Chose it for its central location and ease. It was fine, very clean everything expected for the price. Would definitely stay here again.

Property was well under standard and unsafe with respect to security and other things. A chair collapsed and resulted in injury. No soap in the shower. No locks on windows. Not a place to revisit. This being said it is a great location and if some effort could be made into sprucing up the rooms it could be desirable. Stairwell could be tidied up and cleaned as well.

It had a convenient fire escape.

Property is very dated. Rooms need a massive facelift. We stayed in an ensuite room and was told it was one of the better rooms it was average. The shower needs a full rebuild the shower hob has broken tiles and the shower its self is held together with silastic. All rooms are supposed to be non smoking but that's all you can smell through out the top floor. Smoke gets drawn in from the air-conditioner as people are smoking in their rooms and blowing the smoke out of their windows. Very noisy of a night as people are using the shared bathroom and slamming doors etc. don't expect a good nights sleep. Security staff of a night were not friendly at all definite overall there is needed. I have stayed in many a pub accommodation over the years and this would have to be the worst.

Common bathrooms clean but could do with a bench or a shelf to put towels and toiletries on whilst showering. Otherwise great location, friendly & efficient staff, off street parking.

For basic accommodation, it was fine. The bed/linen was hotel grade. Being an old building, things just creaked and rattled. There was nothing in the room to promote Moss Vale or surrounds.

Old historic pub that is well located in Moss Vale. Very reasonably priced and friendly helpful staff. Recommend it for a nice weekend or longer to get out of the big smoke.
