Wonderful! Will definitely stay again. Beautiful room, very comfortable bed, large bathroom with great shower. Every detail carefully thought of to add modern conveniences. Great location to walk for dinner and catch a show nearby. Love how they help their local community.

Lovely old structure masterfully turned into a sweet hotel. Art abounds, high ceilings, stained glass, modern luxuries, comfortable and hip. All the good stuff. Just a short walk down a charming street to the heart of East Nashville. Seeking to avoid the madness of downtown? Stay at the Russell!

The hotel is really awesome. My family and I were on our way back from a Florida beach vaca and wanted to stop at a fun hotel on the way home. This option came up and we were really shocked how cool it was. The room had ample space for a five person family and the overall vibe of the hotel was great.

Great hotel in the outskirts of Nashville. An old church beautifully renovated and well decorated. No staff on site, self check-in, free parking on site. Walking distance to restaurants. No elevators!

An absolute fabulous stay! The building is easy to access & parking is impeccable. There is a luggage lift for 2nd floor rooms & the first floor rooms, where I stayed, were all quiet & well maintained. My room, a deluxe king, had picturesque garden view & very comfortable bedding. The shower was clean & well designed. Looking forward to my next visit.

What a beautiful place to stay. Quaint neighborhood, free parking and a percentage of our stay goes to help people in the community. Rooms were clean, beds comfy and coffee available on demand in the lobby. We will definitely stay again.

The Russell is a great, unique, fun hotel that doesn't skimp on comfort or amenities. The staff were attentive and helpful before and during our stay. We appreciated a surprise complimentary anniversary gift when we got to our room.
The bedding was comfortable, the shower had great pressure, and the whole hotel was very clean and comfortable. It's centrally located in East Nashville to be able to walk to a lot of locations. We rented a car but would have been able to do without.
Overall would recommend, and i hope we get to come back and enjoy it again.

Very cool experience! Chuch turned into a boutique hotel. Loved it! When I first exited the interstate and approached the area, I was a little hesitant. Wasn’t sure it was such a safe area. But the area surrounding the hotel was very nice. The parking lot across the street was well lit. Cameras in place too. Traveling alone on this trip, I felt safe bringing my luggage across the street. Once inside, the layout and decor is very cool. My room was spacious. Loved the use of the church pew and stained glass windows. There were so many extras that made the stay even better. Also ideal… I had dinner at the butcher and bee, which is right down the street. It was a good stay!

The Russell was a perfect place for a long getaway weekend! The location was unbeatable and was close to downtown Nashville and other hot spots. The hotel is very clean and the staff also made the effort to text me while I was there to make sure everything was okay. The next time we decide to take a trip here, this will be my first choice. A truly uniques experience. In a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful, creative and well done. Had everything we needed and lots of little touches including a snack basket and plush robes. Loved the stain glass! Parking was easy with no trouble getting where we wanted
