Close to a lovely beach. Hotels in need of basic repairs and the linen is not in great shape but the location is great and the service was friendly. Good stop on a long road trip

Excellent place near to everything and a few steps to the beach

The motel is in the midst of renovations. Our room was quite simple but very clean. The mattress was kind of odd and not very comfortable. I will stay here again.

I booked the motel before i read the comments. Most of the comments were awful. I was ready for a disappointment. When i arrived i was very surprised! The motel was clean, i arrived about half hr early and mgmt accommodated me. When i entered the room it was so nice and clean. Bathroom had an extra big shower. Very nice. I asked for extra towels and wthout any hesitation was given some. Mgmt very nice, bed was firm and new TV.

The service was excellent! The husband and wife team were friendly and got me into my room quickly after a long day of driving which I was grateful for. The room was very clean and updated. The space has all the amenities you would need but is very budget friendly. There is no view out of the windows in my room but I didn’t spend anytime there and the lack of view is reflected in the price I paid for the room and in comparison to the other properties around was very economical. The location was great, just a couple of blocks from the beach. The walls are a bit thin, so sound does carry, but again, not to be unexpected for being so budget friendly. The interior of the room has been updated and they are still working on a few minor updates to the exterior but it was very clean. The towels and comforter could be a bit nicer, but again, this place is very budget friendly! Overall if your looking to save some money, but still have all the amenities for a long weekend,or longer, ie, fridge, microwave, coffee, iron, and housekeeping, with proximity to downtown Pismo Beach And eateries and fun hen I highly recommend this quaint motel!

We have stayed at pismo at least 20 times. This trip was kind of a last-minute trip. I booked the trip only about two weeks before took the trip to Pismo. As you probably know while reading this during the early summer and anytime during the summer actually it’s hard to find a good inexpensive room at Pismo Beach because there are so many people, trying to escape the heat and get to the ocean. Now to the actual review. This place is horrible, spend a little more and get a better room. I spent almost $600 for three days and two nights. At first, the couple that manage the place for the owner and LIVE at the motel seemed Nice. The room itself looked like it had been painted and remodels. Whoever did it did a terrible job. It slightly slapped a coat of paint without any detail. The drawers under the TV were sealed shut so you couldn’t use them. The shower has nowhere to lay down, your soap, shampoo, or conditioner. Instead, they have some toy like dispensers of shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. If you stay here, you are not allowed to take more than one shower a day. What I meant to say is that they will only offer you towels, washcloths, and hand towels, once per day . If you ask for more than that, you will receive a tongue, lashing, and the condescending speech. Their towels are like sandpaper by the way. So you may want to bring your own towels, washcloths, and hand towels. Stay somewhere else! Not worth it!

Rooms are clean. The steps leading to our room needs to be fixed.

They need to replace their beds and bedding soon as possible

The sheets were full of dog hairs and stuff.

Very friendly staff and rooms have been recently renovated! Very confy beds and rooms smelled clean once checked in.

The motel is a dump, we were the only people in the motel, and now I know why.

Horrible. This is my story. So I work outside with my job and I really like the idea that this hotel had a hot tub and it was a good price so I paid for the hotel and I when I got there that night I was really exhausted and there was no hot water but I just figured I would take a shower in the morning because it was probably due to other tenants using all the hot water up. in the morning I went to use the hot water and there was nothing there so I rushed to work anyway and I came back after work and told the manager that I needed to get a new room because this has been going on from the night before. You told me he would fix it in just to wait, but I waited all night and eventually fell asleep. I woke up the next morning and went right to him this time telling him I wanted a refund for part of my state because there was no hot water, and he immediately gaslighted me to tell me that I didn’t ask him for a room with hot water or tell him it was a problem. This is the same guy who came into the room and tested the water and confirmed he would get me a new room! So, of course, I got upset. I raise my voice a little, but I didn’t ball my fist or threaten him or jump over the counter, and he immediately got so offended that I raise my voice for calling him out for lying, and I told him he’s a liar, right to his face because he was., that he said he would immediately trespassed me and I had to leave the property. He apologized after I complained even louder, then blacklisted me.

Dirty! Roaches! Paint peeling, mouse poop, mold, super thin walls, black smudges all over the walls and doors, it smelled like an ashtray and mildew, bad customer service (the front desk lady was kind, just seemed inexperienced and her boss was the one running the show he was off putting to say the least). I would not recommend to anyone, it’s conveniently close to everything towards the pier thats the only upside.

This is where you go to get nothing that was advertised. Tourist trap! I lived here for 20 years and visiting for a couple days. This is why locals hate these people coming in and ruining our rep.

Easy parking quiet clean

When we checked in, lady at desk had nothing clue what she was doing until the man came out. He gave us the wrong room. Room smelled moldy & not the hot tub room we paid for. So we got our money back & went down the street to the Edgewater inn. Much nicer.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This establishment has a rodent problem! A mouse dragged an oyster cracker bag behind the bed. Went to notify the staff of the situation and they didn’t understand what I was telling them. Showed them a video of the vermin ducking in and from under the bed! Packed our stuff and got the hell outta there. My kids were freaked out and to top it off this place is refusing to refund my money. Did not spend the night there and their excuse “I looked any didn’t see anything” sent them and Expedia the video proof. Worst experience in such a wonderful beach town.

Unfinished repairs. Walls were spackled to cover up holes and left unpainted.

staff is unprofessional and rude

It was horrible. Dirty dusty. Many hazardous outlets. Toilet was leaking. Worst hotel ever!!

The bed was infested with bedbugs. The shower curtain was really dirty. Was not able to stay in the room since I was not going to lay on a bed infested with bed bugs. I had to sleep in my car. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

The manager was in his underwear and a t-shirt when he checked me in. There was another guest complaining that their heat didn’t work and they didn’t have a remote for their tv while I was waiting to check in. I checked out about 45 minutes late and they threatened to call the police if I didn’t give them cash. I understand a late checkout fee, but the way they handled it was very unprofessional.
