Stayed before and loved it but unlucky with weather so potential flooding closed car park which made it a nightmare to park and cost £60 for 2 nights. Room cold and heating system didn’t work effectively. Quilt cover torn which isn’t a good standard. A bit disappointing.

On arriving at the hotel by car we were asked to download an app to pay for parking(£1). Nationwide blocked my card when i tried to do so. We payed the £15for 24hr parking directly to the hotel. Unblocked my card to check my account and the company linked to the parking app took an unauthorised payment of£59.99. A scam, verified by my bank, somewhere in cyprus. Ive since informed the hotel but have heard nothing back.

Just outside of York city centre but walkable. Parking charges £15 a day but free parking available nearby streets in the evening. Free crosount and drinks at the reception are great. TV set wasn't working

We were very happy with the room, the staff were excellent and the bed was wonderful.
However, we paid extra for a larger room and for a later checkout. Part of this weekend was to enjoy some relaxing time, watching tv in bed Saturday evening and Sunday morning. The tv in this room (125) doesn’t work and despite my best efforts, still doesn’t work which is very disappointing. Also the bathroom sink is blocked and the water isn’t draining away. Both of these issues should have been picked up and addressed before the room being occupied and it has spoilt our stay!

First staying in Roomzzz the hotel was perfect for a visit to York as everything was walkable, nice staff, early check in with no problem & far better value than Premier Inn.

The room was expensive, more than we have paid anywhere else ever. It had a kitchen which we did not need. Breakfast was just coffee and croissants! But it was the best we could find when booking, in advance too. I can only think York is always pricey.
The private parking was very expensive.
It was an experience but not worth £159.00 for one night plus £15 parking for 24 hours.
Also recently stayed in Liverpool, Stoke and St Albans all cheaper and we had breakfast.

Great stay well equipped room and kitchenm only downside was no mirror at the dressing table with a plug. Meaning I had to do my hair in the kitchen. Other than that it was a really great hotel and very comfortable. Would definitely consider using in other citiesm

This is a great property for the York area! Nice quiet location right on the river.
We had a view of the river from our room and it was lovely.
The rooms were clean and cozy. We had a huge room including a kitchenette.
The deli they had in the lobby was packed with some nice things.
They had a coffee machine in the lobby which you could help yourself to anytime of the day. And in the morning they pastries laid out you could help yourself too.
The only downside we had a fire alarm go off three times from 11:30pm to midnight.
We spoke to another guest and he said he stays there a lot and it’s a frequent occurrence. So something to keep in mind.
But otherwise a great hotel.
