My only suggestion would be to add lighting in the bathroom over the sink. The staff were very nice and friendly. We had bad storms while there and TV service was out for awhile. Staff was great about keeping us informed.

First time to stay at an Avid hotel. This place was exceptionally clean and nice.

1st time at Avid. All was4 stars. This hotel is definitely for the working person to stay if in the area. Items is lobby- colas, water, snacks etc- were very pricey. Breakfast was grab and go. All in all for 1 night it was fine.

It was good we always stay here when visiting the family! Location is perfect for us! The only thing is that I wasn't aware they started doing a $50 hold on account (but they said you will get it back when you check out).. Nice Gym would like more hot breakfast items

I stayed in this hotel for two nights on business. The location is convenient for dining and basic shopping. I felt safe and secure. The area was quiet. The hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly. I would stay here again on my next business trip. My only negative would be that the seal around the door is very thin so you hear people in the hallway.

The hotel is fairly new but housekeeping was not good at all, mind you I had to wait a few minutes to check in because the room wasn’t ready so I figured it would be clean. The floors, both bathroom and room needed to be swept. Looked like it had been days. Mirror dirty, and the bathroom looked as though it had been “wiped down”. I started to ask for a broom but I went and bought bleach and bathroom cleaner and cleaned it myself 🙄

Staff was great, hotel was convenient. Basic hotel room, but nicer shower than usual. Decent TV, beds were comfortable, not too much noise, and everything was clean. Can’t ask for much more for a nice 2 day layover in our trip. We didn’t find much of anything to do in the area, but as for the hotel, I’d stay in it any time I needed a place to stay for a few days while in the area. Very nice couple of days.

I used to stay across the street at Home2Suites, but between the noise and the dogs I decided to try the Avid. It was amazing. So clean and fresh. The room was smaller but it was perfect for me. The bed was great. I have a Sleep Number but still got great sleep for the 4 nights I was there. I even asked at the front desk if I could buy one of their soft pillows but the don’t sell them. I NEED one. lol

The hotel is fairly new, so it was clean and neat. The room was really nice. The person who checked me in ruined the experience. That person was passive-aggressive rude because I questioned something. If the staff can’t handle questions then maybe they should be part of the cleaning staff. The person who did my check out was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. It was like night and day compared to check in.

No one was at the front desk when I arrived. After waiting several minutes I walked around into the office space. I found the front desk clerk sitting in a private space looking at his phone. Felt like I interrupted him in order to get checked in. Although everything felt new, the room, especially the bathroom was not particularly clean.

All good, except no coffee/coffee pot in the room. Going up /down to/from the lobby (from the 4th floor) to retrieve coffee was VERY INCONVENIENT.

This was our first stay at an Avid hotel and it was very enjoyable. The modern style of the hotel was unique and there were some things that were particularly nice such as the fresh ground coffee dispenser, a good breakfast, and excellent desk clerks. All of the employees were very nice, but I wanted to especially thank Whitney who made sure that our rooms were all together and that my mom had a good handicapped room, as a group of us were there for a wedding. Of course there are always small things that need improvement, such as not having a coffee maker in the room, our microwave did not work, the water in the shower was just barely hot enough to be tolerable, and the desk chair is very uncomfortable. The lobby is very nice and had a comfortable place for our group to meet as well as the outdoor space. I also wanted to mention that my elderly mother who is in a wheelchair could not open her door as it was sticking, but I found out that a work order has already been put in to repair that. That could be dangerous for handicap person. We would definitely go back to this hotel when we are in the Augusta area again.

What a pleasant surprise. I had never stayed in an avid hotel. The room was great, comfortable bed & pillows. Had everything I needed. Breakfast was perfect. The only reason I gave the area 4 stars was because there was construction going on across the way, but lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

We were arriving around 10 am on a flight to come for a funeral. Called a few days before to see if we could have an early check in as the funeral was at 2 but check ins weren't til 4. They got a room for us at noon. Perfect. Allowed us to clean up before the funeral

Overall nice property although construction is happening all around the property, pretty nosiy during the day.
