Nice cabin to end the trip the night before

Property was well maintained, we used it only for few hrs and as we had car it was okay, otherwise hard as there is nothing near by

Beautiful location. House is very nice and clean.

It was a small clean cabin. If you were expecting to enjoy the ocean, it was very stinky from seaweed, no where to walk along the beach. So don’t go for the water. But it was quiet and peaceful. Nothing really to do in the area.

master bed has strong disgusting smell like breastfeeding, especially the pillows. Owner should have changed out/ deep clean the bedding. My wife and I cannot stand it and didn't sleep well. The kids room bunk beds are fine.

The beauty of the property was the serene surroundings and natural beauty. In addition, the host leaves descriptive instructions for the house, hot tub, and garbage making things so easy. Actually, the online description does not give justice to the house as it says a kitchenette but there is actually a full kitchen and such nice accomodations, it was a pleasant surprise. This was our last night in Iceland and it made it very easy to drive back to the airport, just 15 minutes away while still being far enough to feel like countryside. Its really beautiful!!

Lage, Whirlpool

Beautiful location next to a golf course on the coast. Great for the airport in the early morning. Kids loved the novelty of the bunk bed, and the adults loved the comfy double. Quaint kitchen and living area. We enjoyed driving just a few minutes down the road to eat at the restaurant next to the lighthouse.

Pretty cabin with all the essentials. Very close to the airport and in a very quiet area. We only stayed a very short night. We turned the heat on and the system can be noisy at night if you are a light sleeper.

Someone was still fixing a new door when we checked in. Extremely windy location. Noisy cabin with air leaking in through windows. Did not get a chance to go out of the property.

The place has a hot tub, but you must fill it yourself and there are no views as it is enclosed with privacy fence. The cabin also has limited views. Overpriced and inconvenient, not worth it in my opinion.

Perfect place! The view is gorgeous. The cabin was spotless and very comfy! Stayed one night on the way to the airport. Only 14 minutes from there !

This was a fantastic place to spend our last night in Iceland! So charming, 15 min from airport, and the hot tub was like having our own private hot spring. Would highly recommend!

Lovely cabin. the surrounding is very empty, still some distance from the seaside. it was a bit smelly outside of our cabin, so probably not a good idea to use the hot tub and BBQ. the kitchen is well equipped, but be aware that there is no oven.

Very nice cozy cabin for family.

We did not stay long but this was a quiet, cozy, and warm place to stay, with the wind and waves nearby to lull us to sleep. Tea and coffee were kindly provided, and we had everything we needed. Would definitely visit here again—beautiful views all around.

Clean and lovely location

Small space. Can’t believe they say six people could stay there. If you open the pull out bed the kitchen is inaccessible. Hard to set the spa temp so it takes a long time to get it right between scalding and cold. Not a b and b. Nothing for breakfast. Don’t stay here. As is everything in Iceland, very expensive. The local restaurants are very limited in their offerings and of course, outrageously expensive for what you get. If you have extra deep pockets don’t worry about the price. But don’t expect much space. Watch out for the low entrance door. I have a bruise on my forehead from going out. Wear a hat going in and out so you don’t cut your forehead

This was a great location. Having the little kitchen and a hot tub on the deck was amazing. Taking a little stroll at night was picture perfect. It is remote though, so make sure you have a rental car and any snacks and drinks you need before you settle in for the night. I’ll stay here again, it was lovely.

Nice and private. Hot tub with coverage from all sides. Infinite heated spring water to fill the hot tub. Beautiful view of the skies as well from here with low noise and low light pollution

This place is everything you need. Such a beautiful location on the coast and a great place to see the northern lights. The woman who owns these properties was extremely friendly and accomadating. I wish we could of stayed here more nights then we did. Due to its closeness to the airport I highly recommend you make this a stop at the beginning or end of your trip and I promise you will not regret it.

The property was very clean!! It was a really nice stay which left me feeling really relaxed. It had all the necessities like coffee, shampoo, conditioner, cleaning supplies and more. It also had a couch bed which was really comfortable. To top it all off, we saw the most beautiful northern lights 10 steps from our door. The beach is also a 5 minute walk from the cabin.

Perfect place to relax after a busy week in Iceland. We didn’t see the northern lights because of clouds but would be a great place to see them!

Beautiful cabin, everything we needed for 2 adults, and two kids on a six day break. Very warm and cosy, stunning location about 20 min drive from a big supermarket (Kronan) and five minute to smaller shop. Lovely and responsive hosts, and lovely to have a supply of tea, coffee, salt and oils in the cabin. Saw the Norther Lights twice from our cabin which was amazing!

Cabin was cozy, warm and very clean. We loved the private hot tub. The size was perfect for our family of 4. We were really looking for something out of the city, close to the ocean (with great views!), yet close enough to some beautiful sites. This definitely checked all those boxes. Proximity to airport for an early morning flight was also a plus.
