I have stayed at several TownePlace and espec have been impressed with room size and hot breakfast. I would say this particular one appears like the others from the outside but falls a bit short. The room was reasonably clean. Floor have goo on it. Windows were very dirty. Breakfast was okay. . What was surprising was how many employees spent so much time right outside the building smoking or just hanging out in the small lobby area by the elevator. We started to use the back entrance but two large rolling trash cans (clean, prob used for kau dry, not trash) were always on the sidewalk blocking the path to the backdoor (by the pool). We could move each timeand rather deal with clean trash cans than walking by smokers. I get that this might be a regional thing, that smoking is still very common in the South. But when employees (incldg the ahift mgr) is constantly seen out by the front entrance having to have another cigarette…it is just does do anything for the hotel’s “curb appeal.”

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was well thought out. I worked while there, great set up for laptop, large monitor, ful sized keyboard, etc. Able to cook meals without having to buy accessories. Great experience!!

We had a suite and it was perfect. Comfortable, clean, plenty of parking. I would stay here again

The bathroom smelled of urine. We were literally stuck to the toilet bowl. Housekeeping doesn’t come everyday, but after informing the front desk, they sent someone to clean while we were out.

Great location to lay our head after university move in. Great shower!

The room was handicap and shower had no curtain. The tile in bath was disgusting. I asked to switch room and the guy at the front desk was so unprofessional and passive aggressive. Almost to the point where I felt unsafe and considered leaving. He was more concerned reading his book than offering a solution. Complete psycho path and should never be allowed to represent the Marriott brand. I would never stay or recommend this place.

The pullout sofa was sooo gross - it was saturated with blood stains. The shower ws lined with mildew. I would not recommend this place.

Our stay was great. Parking was full a lot and had to park in the back but other than that, no complaints.

The property was very noisy.

Great experience. Clean facility, spacious, inviting. Guests above my room were loud all night. Breakfast options, or the lack thereof, were poor. Only had pork sausage. I dont consume pork.

For being a newer hotel, it is very dated, dirty, dingy, un maintained, room smelled like old dog urine. Breakfast was a joke, people were smoking weed outside the hotel. VERY DISSATISFIED

Super friendly staff!

Only spent one night, but it was very nice. Rooms were good size and enjoyed having a larger refrigerator and a cooktop. Staff was friendly was was clean.

Would definitely stay here again. Everyone was so nice and all the employees greeted me when they saw me passing by in the hallway. Refrigerator was nice and cold when we arrived and the hallways in the hotel were nice and cool. We have visited several hotels lately that seem to be saving on their bill by turning the air off so when you leave your room you walk into a stuffy hallway until 1st floor. My only issue was that the shower half wall was not long enough and water leaked out onto floor so we required numerous towels.

We arrived very late. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort. They were also incredibly Helpful with another matter and so friendly overall. It was so appreciated.
